Gold sand is no different than regular sand other then it's heavier. Gaara practically did beat the 2nd by himself. Gaara was the only one who could fight him and did fight him. What did Oonoki do? Almost get one shotted and had to be saved by Gaara. So please tell me who else helped him? When you can tell me i'll change my mind.

Exactly but people keep bringing garra tryna put him on their level just because he beat the 2nd Mizukage, with help. Garra's a beast but not on the level people put him on.

The sand was heavy so Onoki made it lighter. Onoki reduced the strain on Gaara in doing that, Gaara can do it on his own but it would be more strenous. Are you trying to say Gaara can't manipulate sand of that small quantity he used to pull Madara out?

Itachi has no long range genjutsu. The crows Naruto saw when he was in the genjutsu were part of the genjutsu which is why Itachi said 'you're already in my genjutsu' his crows can't cast illusions unless he gouges out their eyes and put his own

Gaara's sand isn't linear. it was never mentioned that it was restricted to moving in a straight lines, he can bend it and change direction, he even made an image of his mom with it.

Gaara will block Amaterasu like he did before, he can ride his extremely quick sand to avoid Totsuka. If the Amaterasu is big, he can just support it with more sand and he'll get Itachi before the Amaterasu can burn through it.

yea when gaara is doing that, itachi will appear next him and attack him with kunais or a jutsus..

or itachi will attack gaara in all direction with kunai, since itachi is an expert of throwing kunais, which causes gaara to use more sand to protect himself and to distract gaara with all those attack. Once gaara leaves an openning, itachi will attack =/

gaara fighting tech is stationary its because of the sand armor while itachi is more finding the opponent's and jutsus weakness

Nah bro, Itachi said "you're already trapped in my Genjutsu, once Naruto was floating in the Air. Naruto was NOT in the Genjutsu while he was running towards Itachi. Itachi used the eye from the crows to cast the Genjutsu.

After the genjutsu, Naruto was standing still where he was before, he never ran and you actually believe Itachi was hiding up to 10 birds in his cloak that were completely silent, it was genjutsu.

So now you're trying to downgrade Gaara's victory by saying the 2nd didn't go all out? Please just stop.

Gaara is a long range fighter all Itachi's known genjutsu are short range.



Gaara can pull Itachi out of Susanoo(he doesn't need Onoki for this, Onoki just reduced the amount of exertion he'll need for this) and crush him. He can avoid Yasaka's Magatama and Totsuka by riding his sand to remove himself out of the way(it was fast enough to dodge Amaterasu)



Gaara can block Amaterasu with his defense(he did so against Sasuke's Amaterasu)


With no genjutsu(Tsukuyomi included) and no Amaterasu or Susanoo attacks, Itachi is dead, won't you agree? If not, tell me Itachi's options.


NOTE: He can't use water techs to destroy Gaara's sand, only oily water can accomplish this.

Gaara is somehow immune to genjutsu now? Gaara can't fly really, he can only levitate using sand, so you know he isn't going anywhere fast on that cloud of sand. So the Totsuka sword could easily seal him while he is just standing there. Because I don't know if you have noticed but Gaara doesn't really move when he fights.

Secondly he can't pull Itachi out of Susanoo, that was possible ONLY because of Onoki.

Third, where are you getting this idea that Itachi's genjutsu is short range? It's only limitations are your eyesight, as he can catch you in it just by you looking at him. So if Gaara can see Itachi, he can get caught in his genjutsu.


So hopefully my point is made. Gaara never moves when he fights, and he definitely does not have the capabilities to move quickly while on his sand cloud. Also if he can see Itachi he can get caught in a genjutsu. So your points are all moot and Gaara still loses.

By the way, I am really hating this underrating of Itachi going on. He is top 10 material easy and most likely top 5. Nagato - Itachi - Minato are in a class of their own, with only Tobi and Edo Madara surpassing them and Naruto and Sasuke not far behind.
