Who knows what the turn out will be, he may or may not be of Uzumaki descent, must be open minded on this. Also you guys failed to mention the fact that Gaara can still control his sand without the 1 tail, this maybe due to high chakra level, who knows.

The red hair= Uzumaki seems like the idea was pulled out a magic hat. Garaa could have descended from the Uzumaki clan, apparently clan association and jutsu's mean nothing.
