Well,kakashi and guy can handle diedara,
kakashi's lighting beats diedara's earth
Guy can use 8 gates on his C4 dragon, so...
but,deidara's flying is the only advantage,
plus kakashi has kumi(warp jutsu).
he wont be able to do that if hes flying fast tho

Team Gai is not there.
If Deidara and Gaara use combine attacks/def. simply Deidara strikes from long range and gaara protect him from long range attacks. Konoha couldn't handle it easyly even if Gai is there he has not very long range attack too and there will be a Gaara for protect Deidara. If deidara can able to avoid from rasenshiruken. Deidara and Gaara would win. Like spammers. We are not arguing RAW POWER please.

There are tons of shinobi in Konoha. You saw how many challenged the different Pain paths when he attacked the village. If all those could consentrate on only two enemies (which are much lesser shinobi than Pain), I can't see how this will be hard for Konoha.

Deidara and Gaara. Unless Tsunade has warning and time to summon Katsuya and have her spread out, C3 alone would be enough to kill most of the villagers. Gaara can create a massive sand tsunami, which no one in Konoha has the means to actually counter. And as long as they stick in the air moving, there's really no to take them both out before wiping out the village.

Kakashi Ms would kill gara or deidara and guy gates could kill gara not sure about deidara but guy did smash kisame and also all of team 11 basically there and the anbu black ops and ino, shika , cho and theres so many more that could kick there ass

Gaara and Deidara are far stronger than any of the paths 1vs1, including Deva (CST and CT don't count since it wasn't used til after he decided to nuke them, which was the final blow to the leaf village). When you cite all these names, you have to ask yourself why it didn't work on them before. Plus, Pein was looking for Naruto and couldn't go full out on the village at first - Gaara+Deidara don't have this hazard.
