Movies aren't cannon, and I've seen these ninja jump really high, A can possibly jump even higher, due to him being so fast and all, but Gaara's flight isn't really good at avoiding ppl, Kimimaru almost killed him whilst he was airborne, so I wouldn't consider Gaara's flight a big advantage in this situation, because depending on the area, A can snatch him out the sky easily, 1 good lariat and the fight is over

But lightning jutsu melts through his shield as though it were nothing, you can't train an elemental weakness away, lightning trumps earth, and Raikage has lightning and speed to avoid anything gaara can throw at him, and sasuke used his electrical affinity to neutralize bombs all throughout his body, I think Raikage doing a full body chidori is very plausible

What u mean tore through it like nothing r u bugging sasuke when did chidori (mind u gaara didn't even use any attacks to stop him cuz he never been hit b4 expecally in the sand ball so didn't really think nothing of the chidori) it took him hella long to get through gaara (genin) sand shield then he got his hand stuck and had to use chidori another time to get it out almost yanking his arm out of socket. Idk wha u mean lightning goes through gaara sand like nothing if tht as the case A should've just went through gaara sand like it was nothing also gaara sand in this fight against madara proved to be non effected by regular lightning mixed with water as he hid his sand in mizukage/A eletric water and caught madara his sand was perfectly fine it's piercing tech tht goes through his defense but not exactly lightning. A lightning piercing attack was the first seen to go through it
And u can tell gaara keeps improving his defense cus gaara vs kimmi fight kimmi strongest bone clearly >>chidori (at the time) couldn't get through sasuke rescue arc gaara sand shield I think gaara can beat A
A has chance against gaara (just like gaara has chance against him) but his options are really limited if gaara reaches the air and is on earth base field everybody is making it seem as if A stomps gaara no diff when Thts not the case at all it would be Atleast high diff battle for either of them I haven't seen anything A could do tht would get him through gaara defense
U can say his chop but honestly 4 gigantic Susanno swords at same time attacking half of gaara's defense and not totatlly getting through >>>>>A chop

2.Gaara does have the avantage there but it doesn't guarantee him the victory.

Ok, I must agree that Raikage is hot headed. The real match-up of this fight is the insane speed and power of the Raikage vs Gaara's fantastic defense/offense.

Do you think that Gaara can keep up and catch the Rakage? This is why I think that the Raikage has the advantage.

When gaara fought rock lee, he didn't put chakra in his sand just like he used against deidara.
The chakra sand in his gourd is faster than the normal sand sasuke beat.
Don't say he used chakra in the sand in part one because it was clear on how faster it was against deidara.
The chakra sand is not as fast as raikage but will block gaara in time. A does not have taijutsu combo attacks like 8 gates mode, its always one power strike so gaaras sand (now capable of blockin blaze release) can defend against A.
On the other hand, gaara's attacks won't touch A, but A gets slower after exaustin chakra, dats why madaras susano grabbed him.
The winner will be who has the higher chakra, so I think A will take this
