Nightmare Luffy raped Oz and he could do the same to Moriah. Now you gave the poor Moriah even the worst. What were you expecting? Moriah fanboys? You know? I’ll give it a try. I’ll be Moriah fan, OK? I’ll say: Doppelman > G4 Luffy.

I was thinking about this yesterday because I don’t think people realize how strong Nightmare luffy is.

Serious? I take it it's the Luffy right now... He could beat him in gear 2 with ease. And as for Nightmare Luffy, I don't see him posing a real big threat, especially not for G4. I mean that's basically an better upgrade to Nightmare Luffy, so...

Gear 2 Luffy post timeskip couldn’t even knock out Cesear. Nightmare Luffy is stronger

Yeah you're right. Shadow Asgard Moriah was able to split an island ship with a single punch. People don't realize how strong you need to be in order for you to do that.

And Nightmare Luffy either it's as equal as G4 or less a bit. If it wasn't for time-limit, Nightmare Luffy like I said would rape both Oz and Moriah. Well, here is something in common between Nightmare and G4, time. The topic wasn't necessary, because the battle is one sided, but I'd like to go against the odds and see where this topic will set to.

Chinjao had much better feats in "splitting" with his haki and Luffy beat it. Moriah's got nothing to go up and pose such a threat now...

Chinjao was passed his prime and he didn't have his horn drill when he got beat by luffy, he couldn't spilt anything with that smooth head. So you can hardly compare the two.
Moriah is still powerful he's just not on luffy's level now because of G4.

Yes, but to be the best mixed in with haki are you really trying to imply that anything Moriah does is on par with a weakened Chinjao??? Just wow if you are. Moriah hasn't shown an ouce of haki so there's no extra destructive force coming from there, he's not anywhere near the level of strong characters physical strength wise so really it's only the extra size that's giving the extra force... In the One Piece world that we know right now an the capabilities that Luffy has, Moriah has nothing in comparison.

A weakened chinjao couldn't even crack a whole building let alone a island. just because someone has Haki doesn't mean they automatically have more power and destructive force.

so I'm not sure why you're saying Asgard Moriah is not strong or have any destructive force. I'm not a Moriah fanboy or anything but I recognize his strength as a Warlord a Former Warlord. You can't just start assuming that someone who hasn't shown haki or have haki are weak.Weevil most likely doesn't have haki and Oars jr. too yet he one-shot Vice Admiral Lacroix (all VA's have haki) so haki alone doesn't determine the winner.
Besides that ice continent splitting that Chinjao did in his prime, what did he do that is impressive? He lost to Luffy just like Moriah did.
I'm not saying Moriah>Chinajo or vice versa but you're overlooking a couple of things.

moriah got pounded by g2 luffy.. even if he's strong, he's not going to catch current luffy when g2 luffy blitzed him. Current Luffy beats NM Luffy too. Moria had a shit ton of shadows, Luffy only had a 100, guess who G2 luffy beat the shit out of without a single shadow? Moria, a guy with 1,000 shadows. Luffy's hundred pales to that.

Giant gear mode (Gear 3+Gear 2) Jet shock was pushing Moriah back but that giant castle that was 3-4 times the size of Asgard Moriah was what knocked him out.

Lol, I'm not saying that Asgard Moriah doesn't have any destructive force, just not on par with the likes we've seen since the NW. And as I previously stated, it's more the size that's giving him the destructive force, same with Oars Jr. When did I ever say haki determines the winner? Thanks for your page links but they mean nothing to me as they have no relevance to what I had previously said. And this island you're talking about, it was a floating island, which means it had nothing to stop it from splitting in half, so it's tensile strength wasn't probably much, especially since it had mean already cracked through to stick up the masts and all sorts, so no, I'm not impressed with Asgard Moriah. He was just big and used nothing but force. When it comes to Moriah I am more interested in what happened with her and Doffy as Doffy stated that he just turned to bats.
The fact that that building is what "knocked" him out just shows how even with all that size and "power," all it took was a building to stop him xD

You did say that moriah doesn’t have any destructive force and size isn’t the only thing that attributed to Moriah strength otherwise Nightmare Luffy would not be that strong. Moriah’s destructive force is very impressive especially in the New World because I didn’t see any villains from Punk Hazard or any second rate pirates from the dress Rosa arc do anything remotely close to moriah’s feats. The only ones that stood above the rest was The Straw Hats, Law, Dofy, Admiral Issho, Burguess and Sabo if I remember correctly. The rest are nothing compared to Moriah’s feats.Anyways regardless of what you think about size(oars jr), it still partially attributed to the strength of beating a vice admiral which is level that you should be at the very least when dwelling in the new world.
As for the tensile stress that you just brought up means nothing to me since you cannot accurately access the give of that floating island. Considering the fact that it’s a floating island that splitted down the middle instead of shifting to the side due to lack of tactile traction, it is a lot more impressive then a stabled ground splitting down the middle.
:lol I guess you missed the part when moriah was slipping in and out of consciousness when absorbing more shadows than he can handle at that point all while suffering from the pummeling damages served by Luffy. The damage was accumulated its not like a castle 3-4 times your size crashing on you doesn’t mean anything. Not many people can take a castle dropping on their face.
But hey whatever it’s your opinion, so you can either take it or leave it. Nobodies saying Moriah is top tier but he is strong enough to become a Warlord of the Sea instead of some second or third rate pirate in the New World.

Once again I never said that he didn't have destructive force, just that in comparison I don't believe it's anything special to what we have seen now. Moriah's power works by the more shadows you have under your control the bigger you get, which in turn obviously would increase the strength that someone can use. Moriah got big and strong and that was it. He's got quite a unique ability, one that I actually quite liked but Moriah just isn't anything special. Sure, give him a title, I'm sure you can agree it wasn't just for him strength but his reknown too. Like "contended with Kaido and lived" and "strong pirate from the New World" but the truth of the matter is he got bitch slapped by Kaido and ran back to the first half of the Grand Line. He's just not strong enough to compete with big shots, whether he's Asgard Moriah or not. As for Nightmare Luffy, you've got to take into account that it was LUFFY that was being boosted, not someone who sits on the side lines in his fights and either has a doppleganger fight for him or some zombies... So yeah, Nightmare Luffy was strong, but come on, compared to current Luffy? And then when in gear 4? There's no contest really and I think you're foolish for thinking so.

There were so many unique abilities that have been seen and many that have shown better feats than Moriah, even when only gaining a fraction of his screen time. If you're talking about island splitting or castle dropping, just look at Pica lol, he'd do whatever the hell he'd want with the two no problem.Of course I can't, I don't think there's been an instance of such a thing happening in real life, but just try and think about it...
I'm not going to go into why someone won the fight or not, but you stated that the castle that fell on him at the end is what knocked him out. As for who could take that, plenty of people. People have taken hits that I would assume are far greater than a building falling on you, especially if you want to make it relative to the person in context. A building 4 times the size of usopp? He's surviving that no problem.
At least we agree he's not top tier... His fruit 100% could be, it's just that Moriah's not, with or without shadows.

1. You can't be renowned if you are not strong enough in the first place.
2. He rivaled Kaido until he got his ass kicked by him in the New world, and considering the fact that all Pirates would get their ass kicked by Kaido (who are not yonkous), that's really nothing to capitalized on especially when Captain Kidd and his alliance also got their asses kicked by Kaido too.
3. Moriah sitting on his ass has nothing to do with what his devil fruit powers are capable of because Moriah's shadow's naturally boost anyone's strength even Moriah himself. So Moriah didn't just grow in size he gained strength from the shadow's he absorbed too like I said before:

4. You're foolish to think that I believe that G4 Luffy is inferior to Nightmare Luffy because if you actually paid attention to what I post, you would know that I said that Nightmare Luffy is stronger than G2 not G4

Besides the people that I listed above, nobody showed anything remotely impressive compared to Moriah.Pica punched a city not an island, you can hardly compare the feats. Pica never assimilated anything as big as a island or even the massive castle that is bigger than Asgard Moriah.
The reason why I said Burguess has an impressive (when compared to moriah's feats) is that he soloed block A New world pirates in a few seconds. Impressive Haki and didn't get his ass kicked by anyone except for Sabo.
Besides that Sabo and Jesus are on a way higher level than Pica hismelf because all that guy did was run and hide then got one-shotted by Zoro.
No not a lot of people can survive a castle crushing down on their face especially Usopp. Go to the impel down and you would find that pirates on level 4 would get killed with a huge castle collapsing on their face. Ivankov knocked himself out just because he Death Wink his head through the next floor. So unless you're Warlord of the Sea level, you're not surviving a castle to the face.
Usopp survive most of his situations thanks to plot (he's in luffy's crew) and running gags.
