I did not had much to do today so a wrote some random thoughts about future plots
So, what could be future plots in the Naruto series?
1. New friends and foes from a "distant land." I always thought that the map of the Naruto World was open for future countries to be included. Looking at the map, we dont know what lies beyond the land of earth, the land of wind and the land of lightning.
Now, this plot may have been foreshadowed by the SO6P when he said in chapter 620 that Kaguya "came to your land from a faraway place". This is also a common story line in many books, mangas, etc.
2. The Uzumaki clan and the Hyuga clan. These two clans have been left very vague in the manga, and I think it was on purpose. Naruto said in chapter 104 that " when I become Hokage I will change the Hyugas." This might tell us two things, that the Uzumaki and Hyuga clans history will become more relevant in the future and that Naruto and Hinata may end up together. Now that Kaguya has the byakugan, I think future plots about the byakugan ( Hyugas) are coming.
Kaguya leave us with a lot of interesting future twist and plots related to the two points above:
Did Kaguya had the byakugan before she ate the fruit, is so then did she inherited or stole them? She began to love her own power to the point that people began to fear her. The SO6P said "If a single person has too much power, they will get obsessed with it and lose control." So it is possible that she stole the eyes in orderr to steal fruit and she just came getting stronger and stronger, but could very well been inherited. But she is not Hyuga by name, so where does the Hyuga name comes from (would it come from the brother of the sage or from a "distant land")?
3. The next generation-- Naruto´s generation is already taking over and I said this because you just have to take a look at the list of people that are dead, cripple or about to retire. Yamanaka, Neji and Nara are dead. Guy and Kakashi are crippled ( although Kakashi still is a great ninja. Guy can beat anyone opening the 7th or 8th gate but I dont think you can go in every mission using those). Tsunade is about to retire or die. So by next generation I mean what new characters will join the Naruto world. I enjoyed the chunnin exams, so who will be the new rookies and their teachers.
4. "Cooperation" was the real power according to Hagoromo. Gaara already said that he wants to be alleys with Naruto when he becomes Hokage. So, how will the nation cooperate between each other. For this to be possible the tailed beast have to return to their countries and one person ( Naruto ) have to keep them in check ( by being friends with them). Would their be a new type of government. There are no Shoguns as I know in the Naruto world. Would there be one now? Would there be an emperor, by this a mean a person that is a symbol for the world but with little political power( this could be Naruto). Would everything remain the same and Naruto just becomes the Hokage in a few years or could there be a power struggle between Naruto and Sasuke.
