Fusing with shadow Clones O_O

What if Naruto learns the amphibian sage technique?

And summons a shadow clone to fuse with him...? One Naruto can absorb the energy, while the other one fights. I'm sure Naruto can transform his clone into a frog and hold it... I mean... hasn't he shown talent in transforming his clones (perfectly) since the beginning of the series?

I don't know, maybe kishi would think of that but still he would look really wierd with two heads... I think that's a reason for kishi not to go with that possibility.

Maybe because the clone's chakra is his own the head won't stick out of his shoulder. I'm just guessing though.

Yer I didn't think I was the only one to come to this conclusion, but it's one of the most logical paths for Naruto to take, and thus needs it's own topic!

The question is, can Naruto perform the amphibian fusion through just transforming into a frog? Or do you have to be an actual amphibian to pull off the technique?

Turning into a frog through taking in too much energy, and transforming into a frog are two different things.

You mean because he gets hit by something? Naruto's clones don't poof for nothing. If he does poof for whatever reason, I suspect Naruto will just fall out of Sage Mode and look for an opportunity to refuse. I wonder how long it takes to fuse though. Oo

probably about 5mins or so they'll get hit at that time right?

nah, i think naruto will use one shadow clone to take the energy and then mix it with the kyuubi chakra to make an ultimate attack.

He would hide the clone gathering natural energy and then, when he finds an opening, he could then fuse with it without enemy interference.
