i think somone should slap some sense into to her. then again she hasn't seen naruto's BM or sasuke's susanoo

How cocky can you get? I mean sure she was pretty useful in this episode (except for the bit where she had to get saved -.-) but to say that is just limiting your own power. The only way to get stronger is to push yourself beyond your boundaries. Like what Sasuke/Naruto/Goku and loads of other main anime characters do.

If anybody can catch up to Naruto and Sasuke, then Naruto and Sasuke aren't special. If Naruto and Sasuke aren't special, then they make a pretty lousy central pair for the manga. Naruto is some kind of hero who has been single-handedly saving the allied army with his magical fox powers, and suddenly Sakura thinks that she's equal to him? Sasuke is an international criminal with all sorts of ultra-rare advantages (Orochimaru's medical enhancements and training, EMS from Itachi, etc) And Sakura is suddenly equal to him?
Sakura is nice and all, and she's played an extremely interesting role as being both a friend and subject of romantic interest between Naruto and Sasuke. But, look at a quick comparison of these:
1) Naruto: Son of the fourth hokage, an Uzumaki (with all of their genetic advantages), jinchuuriki of the 9-tailed fox, child of prophecy, trained by Jiraya (A sannin). Also trained by the frog sage and Killer Bee (a rare, perfect jinchuuriki).
2) Sasuke: An Uchiha (with all of their genetic advantages), master of the sharingan, owner of an ultra-rare EMS, trained and medically enhanced by Orochimaru (A sannin).
3) Sakura: Trained by Tsunade (A sannin).
One of these three is not like the other. One of these three doesn't belong. Besides the fact that Sakura's teacher was on the same level as the teachers of Naruto and Sasuke, she has nothing else going for her. Naruto and Sasuke both have strong advantages from their heredity, genetics and other factors.
Maybe Sakura is a little bit better than just being dead weight, but she's still not on the same level as the other two.
People argues about her still being useless and that she is below the other two Sannin student. Let me tell this once...
How can you compare a pair of shinobis that are from the offensive type vs a kunoichi of the supporting type?
Which are the parameters that makes you think the way you do?
Do you think you have eyes on Kishimoto's head when you assume that she has been doing nothing during these three years?
Do you people think Sasuke is more powerful than Sakura because he got MS?

My answer: There is no way you can do that. I will only base my arguments on facts, and the following are these facts:
Pros:
- a: Naruto has been fighting, giving chakra and defending SA.
- b: Sakura has been supporting. If her reserves of chakra were limited, she should be exhausted already... but she gives us a surprise, her chakra control ability taught us how to save up some chakra, and now her strenght became overhelming.
- c: Sasuke just arrived. He is fresh and ready for battle.
Cons:
- a: Naruto has been healed few times already, he is depending on Kurama for chakra saving... he loses time. He provokes the enemy, and makes promises he can't fulfill.
- b: Sakura needs some time to acumulate chakra and reveals the Hyakugou. The time she uses for saving chakra determines the power she can use when she uses the jutsu. But more importantly... this is a last resort move, so it's not meant to be used so often. Until then, she has to be cautious.
- c: The first move makes Sasuke is... one that uses his MS. I hope Sasuke can use his smartness to save up chakra and go with a better plan as the first part of the series... or I'll just think that he still doesn't know when to save up chakra.

I get pretty mad when there are people who saying "Hinata > Sakura or Sakura > Hinata". God, if people just had proof of their words, it could be just better... Talking with fanboyism or hatred towards characters and without any proof, trying to prove things... is DUMB. Of course, if you only have fanboyism or hatred towards characters but you're not trying to prove things, but just talking for talking, it wouldn't be a problem... it would only be spamming xD.

Yeah yeah he got a dôjutsu, cool. Now he got nice powerful moves... But the Sasuke we know after recieving the MS turned out to be someone who doesn't use the brains, he almost ended blind because he abuses of this power, that I guess, because it damages the user, it should be classified as kinjutsu.
Sakura in the other hand can't fight so often because that's not the role she's meant to take. But when she does, at least she uses the brains, and I assure you... Tsunade trained her strength and her reflexes (I don't remember the chapter but it's said already).
In the end, you can't say who is better. There are a lot of factors that determines the result in a fight, not only jutsus (that was told by Hiruzen to Orochimaru in the attack of Konoha)
