So when doing a vs thread what would be the best way to prove A > B

Look at it this way

Ninja A fought with ninja B and ninja A won with no intel like a real shinobi battle would generaly go when its a random encounter.
Now when they faced off again both at 100% and ninja B won cause he had full intel on his opponent.

In theory it would make him stronger but when talking about an actual "realistic" battle odds are they have no intel on each other.
So is it better to go wih no intel or full intel when saying ninja A > ninja B

They is no actual realistic battle a shinobi is a shinobi.a shinobi can still die with intel.it had for any shinobi to fought without intel from before.like lee vs sasuke sasuke already knew the meaning of taijutsu so you can call that an intel too.a fight without an intel is a fight whereby your oponent uses a very new stly of fighting that no one know of e.g pain vs j man,sasuke vs deidera,(sasuke,naruto vs haiku) e.t.c but sasuke vs danzo both knew what Katon is,they knew all sharingan abilities that is also an intel.shikamaru vs hidan, yes he had an intel on hidan..I know some may say he figured it out by himself but you can't change the fact that he already had an intel on him before....still it doesn't make one better than other all have to still find counter like naruto vs pain it not like naruto sat at home an learn how to counter them one by one he did it during the batter.i think only Shikamaru sat at home and analysed hidan(stop praising Shikamaru too much).plz stop all these intel or no intel. A shinobi is a shinobi and a win is a win.i think only 5 battles re without intels in narutoverse.

It only prolonged the battle nothing more cause at the end it knowing your oponent that will result to victor.lol they is no such thing as not knowing you must know in other to win

what I understand after reading what you said was:

Sasuke is better because he encountered Deidera without intel
Naruto is half the ninja Sasuke is, because he fought against Pain with intel

thats what I interpreted...

That was almost a zero intel cause he knew nothing bout their abilities he only knew pains' identity and that they share only one vision

See, this is where 99% of all vs threads falls apart. The reason for this is because people fail to realize the difference between the facts/abilities of characters and kishimoto needing one character to defeat the other. Lets take the recent Edo Nagato vs Edo Itachi thing. (I am in no way arguing for either character, I am merely using this scenario as a statement). Most people turn to the manga as proof that Itachi is better than Nagato, but they fail to distinguish the very basic fact that Kishimoto NEEDED Naruto and his friends to defeat Nagato. Otherwise the story couldnt continue. As long as that distinction is VERY CLEAR, then there is no real difference between full intel or no intel as the core characters would either fail to piece together a strategy or they would succeed in doing so.

Again, that was only one scenario, and while the concept definetely applies to that scenario, you can apply it to just about every fight in the manga. Again, I wasn't trying to single out any one character, I was pointing out the flaw in vs threads that use scenario's from the manga as proof (for example, look at Kimimaro vs Gaara in Part 1. Kishi needed Kimimaro to die so he killed him off by unknown disease...right as he was about to kill Gaara and Lee).
