But here he says you cant use sage mode for extended periods of time, but fukusaku ALWAYS has them markings, hes in sage mode 100% of the time and can always draw out natural chakra....so...whats going on?

Well he only said Naruto can't stay in sage mode for very long. Probably because he's still learning.

Like in Bleach, where Ichigo can only wear that mask for 11 seconds for the first few months.

when they are fighting narutos sage eyes have a red outline around them while toad master dudes are black? that doesnt look like sage mode if so he would have been stronger than jiriaya and pwned pains face most likly... thats not sage mode


PS - how come all the toads in the series are red (and 1 yellow) but sage toad master dude whom i forget the name of is green?

well fukusaku was on jiraiyas shoulder to collect natural chakra, and his eyes never changed, so logically hes always in sage mode and the eye area is simply different colours depending on skin colour (as fuku is green)

He has the eye markings, and i doubt colours that important or the manga would all be in colour, itd be a bit retarded to have a black and white anime and then make a colour important would be pretty dumb on kishis part.

Im going with xeros idea or that because hes a toad hes always able to use sage mode

Since he's a toad, maybe he is always one with the earth. Naruto had to try really hard to be one with the earth, while it comes naturally to fukusaku.

My guess is that since he's a toad, he already has the ability to pull in natural energy. Apparently, the human form can't handle the natural energies as well as a frog which was why when Naruto started out he was in danger of turning froggy and jman turned part frog. It's probably only a problem for the human body to remain in sage mode due to the current of natural energy going through it, he may turn into a frog or end up injured like when he stays Kyuubi for too long. But since Fukusaku is already a toad, he doesn't need to change out of sage mode because he naturally is sage mode. Just like Naruto can't stay Kyuubi mode forever but Kyuubi can.
