I've started to notice/think about something about Fujitora, he always draws his sword while using his power. Do you think this may mean that his sword has the DF power?

Remember how it was said the Marines found a way for objects to eat DFs? Your thread has me wondering... What if it was Fuji's sword that ate some gravity manipulation type of fruit? That would explain why he seems to always use his sword as a medium to manipulate gravity.

Was it specified that it was only Zoan fruits? I know that in the past, it's always been shown to be a Zoan fruit but I don't remember Oda specifically stating that. Though I could have just missed it.

the reason Its only zoan cause then the thing has a life and control its power.
Giving a stick the hito hito no mi its still a stick because it cant manipulate the strings it makes and no one else can force thier will onto another DF user thats like Fuji using chopper but instead of gravity he makes him switch points as a weapon.

While it sounds good it's still just an opinion. What's to say it couldn't eat a logia like fire and fling fire with each swing, swinging differently could lead to different attacks. Fujitora's sword could increase or decrease gravity depending on his swing etc.
Yeah, I think that the sword wields the actual devil fruit power. I wonder how that's even possible though, to get an object to consume a devil fruit. Will be interesting to see how Odra explains it, as it has been confirmed since the CP9 arc I think.

i see fuji being similar to Law the sword is a compliment to his df power, and anyways its just cooler when he does it with a sword than i envision it with him just using his hands and seeing as he is blind its a handy double as a cane and weopon type accessory and it makes him stand out from the other admirals, so i just see a blind guy with a df that knows how to look cool, if it turns out to b the df that has the power then i will b a bit bummed coz then if someone takes away his sword he might b left very weak and for the horror i wld get to see some1 else wield his power and as i said that wld b horro.

He could still be strong with Haki even if he lost his sword but yeah then someone else could give him a taste of his own medicine in a fight if it ends up being that way.

Logic. Simply put to use a Devil fruit you need a conscience. Zoans give inanimate objects that conscience which Paramecia and Logia types do not as they do not pertain any animalistic features.
It's not possible for a sword to choose to use gravity and learn techniques. It's the swordsman that uses the techniques, hence he has the Devil Fruit.
I doubt its the sword. I think its just something he uses as a medium to aim since he's a swordsman. I mean imagine Fuji doing Sasuke's Kirin pose and just pulling meteors while doing it.
He didn't have his sword when he was eating ramen and pulling meteors. Also, look at Zoro's energy blasts. He's the one doing it not his swords but he uses his sword as a medium to aim his beams because he's a swordsman. Im pretty sure Zoro can use those beams with any sword he wants (he's displayed this feat). The power lies in the swordsman, not the sword but the sword is used because the user is a swordsman. Give Fuji one of Zoro's swords, im sure he can still use gravity.
