Well, the whole MS -> EMS thing (and a lot of things) became illogical when transmigration was introduced, it seems there's destiny in Naruto making it look like no matter what happened Sasuke and Madara would have ended with EMS cos they were Indra's transmigrants.

Yea, I liked the idea at firstbut eventually that and duality ruined the manga in a sense.

I mean we were shown that regardless of what happens Naruto and Sasuke would get certain powers & be above everyone else. It was like no matter what this or that will happen because Indra this or Ashura that.

Itachi didn't take his eyes because in the manga, actual real story, Fugaku didn't have the MS...
The anime simply clashes with the manga. Don't take the anime serious, it's absolute trash.

The only difference between Ms and Ems is that on gives you eternal light. If none of them are exhausting their eyes then they have no need to transplant their eyes unless they're fighting someone like Hashirama.

Only people to have ever awakened EMS were transmigrants, both used the eyes of their siblings, the point of EMS is to grant the ability to use the Mangekyo's full power without blindness like Indra did, logically it would only work on transmigrants.

You don't need to be a transmigrant to get the EMS...

Confirmed to be weaker than 13 yr old MS Itachi who had Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu.

Unless he'd use his MS to unleash Kurama. He'd be stronger then while Itachi would have more skill.

No, he was the only member that could give Itachi a fight. Itachi never thought he wouldn't be able to kill him, though he'd prefer not to fight as it's still his dad (and Fugaku didn't want to fight his own son either).

Considering these factors as well as the fact that Itachi was perhaps the strongest Uchiha since Madara and perhaps Fugaku, I personally think it's very possible that he may have been close to Kage level but certainly above anbu or special Jonin. But anyway i wish we could have seen him in action...

Yes, it would have been nice to see him to at least spar with another Police Force member or something. They should have added that in.

Also knowing he had the MS why wouldn't Itachi have taken his eyes as a spare in case he went blind? I mean you could say he was distraught, but then why would he stay to threaten Danzo? Itachi could have had EMS and Sasuke's eyes would have been op af even before he got the Rennigan...

You can only get EMS if you're a transmigrant. Hence why people transplanted eyes in the past and failed, but only Sasuke/Madara succeeded.

I don't think he'd be able to handle ripping out the eyes of his father on the most traumatic night of his life. lol Probably didn't even cross his mind.

But it wasn't needed for his plan, anyway. And controlling Kurama (which would require killing Naruto via extraction) is not a favorable power to Itachi.

IF Fugakus MS was canon Itachi is not one to pry for power so it makes since he wouldnt bother going after Fugakus eyes. He also intended on making Sasuke the bearer of EMS.

Izuna and Madara both awakened MS and were considered the strongest Uchiha of their generation, likewise Itachi and Sasuke were the strongest Uchiha of their generation.

You don't need to be transmigrant to get EMS - you need the eyes (compatible ones) and someone capable of performing ocular surgery to gain it. It (as far as I can see) has feck all to do with reincarnation.
