The fact that minato said as long as his chakra or seal is touching something he can teleport it or himself to it vice versa proves that as long as a mark is outside the dimension he can escape.

No it doesn't because chakra can't travel through dimensions. Remember when naruto and minato recharged everyone's chakra cloaks. Kakashi's wasn't recharged because he was in the kamui dimension. This is because chakra can't travel to another dimension.

The whole purpose for Minato sensing the chakra of his markers would be to know where he is going to teleport. Although he seems to only be able to warp within a certain radius of his Kunai or the markings.

The reason FTG is instant seems to be because it's from point A to point B. Like a wormhole, a shortcut.

As opposed to Kamui which is slower because first, you have to warp to the Kamui dimension and then you warp out of there to appear at a different location.

The moment Minato enters the Kamui dimension, the link between him and the chakra of the markers in the real world will break. Either that or he won't be able to sense the chakra on the other dimension so how exactly will he teleport or know where to teleport?

Kakashi mentioned that the only ones who share that other dimension are those with Kamui. Minato noted during his encounter with Tobi that the winner will be determined by who is faster (Minato with Rasengan in hand and Tobi trying to make contact for a warp)

In other words, I believe FTG is more like a wormhole while Kamui involves jumping into a completely different dimension. Kamui being like a black hole that'll drag things to another dimension.

Yeah this was confirmed in chapter 597

You must be registered for see images

Bee specifically asks if it means that all s/t is connected & kakashi states that it's most likely just the two of them.

This is the closest thing in the manga we have to an answer so I'm going to believe this until it gets contradicted.

If you cant escape kamui with FTG, does that mean that, if he caught hjim off guard, obito could beat Goku?(Or basically e very DBZ character except super buu and gotenks(Untill proved otherwise which wont happen))

Any DBZ character who is stronger than buu and gohan can break dimension. All that requires is a scream to break through dimensional barrier. DBZ is pure A<B<C logic and no feat is required unless conditions are stated otherwise (like obtaining God Ki, which requires Ki of 6 saiyans, so vegeta can't become SSG)

That was your opinion and it's fine but do you have any proof?

That scan pretty much doesn't help your cause - unless you can show some way that transfer to a marked object is negated it's a wasted effort -- none of your scans show this - it shows that 1) the 4th needs for his chakra to touch something -- btw the marking itself may be an impression of his chakra (who knows) which would explain why he still teleports to them without having to touch it. Unless there is a scan definitively stating that transfer out a dimension is not possible - it is nothing but speculation. Based on what we know if there is a marking he can teleport to it pretty much forever except in the case of the juubi whos power was so great he was able to remove the marking. Oh and the ability to not sense chakra doesn't necessarily negate the possibility of the use of FTG back to normal plane -- all speculative from what I'm seeing

^^
Assumption -- nowhere is it stated that this is the case - it may not be anything of that kind you are speculating. Last I checked he can pretty much warp wherever his kunai is...unless otherwise or limitations have been said I'm going with what I FACTUALLY know...once there is a marking he can go to it.

The reason FTG is instant seems to be because it's from point A to point B. Like a wormhole, a shortcut.

^^ Again more assumptions about (FTG) - unless you have proof they are only speculations - who is to say that FTG does not go throug ha totally different dimension and then come out at the location?? as I said you're assuming. If what I said is the case whether in the other dimension or not it would still be viable. We just do not know - disagree based on current info escape from kamui is possible.

Yet Naruto was able to hit him with a lovely 'chakra' infused rasengan >_>...*sigh* -- you are speculating admit it.

Kakashi didn't get recharged obviously because he couldn't physically touch him to transfer chakra...it doesn't mean chakra transfer between the two dimensions is impossible.

We haven't seen anyone successfully teleport out of the Kamui dimension, nor have we seen anyone fail to. Therefore it's unknown whether it is possible to or not.

You sir are 100% correct but based on what the 4th said I still believe it's possible

Yeah I agree, you also have the fact Tobi knew of FTG and he thought once Minato was warped he was done, he would be retarded if Minato could just warp out lol

this....! there's no way to sense marking outta dimension hence you can't return to real world...!

Are you saying naruto had to touch everyone else in the alliance to recharge their cloaks? No, once naruto gives them chakra and he recharges their cloaks recharge as well. But kakashi's did not.

Naruto was able to hit obito with a rasengan because he was sent to the other dimension. While I have no solid proof, from what we know chakra does not travel between dimensions nor can it be sensed from another dimension therefore FTG users can't warp in and out of the kamui dimension regardless of whether they have markings in there or not

FTG users can escape Kamui dimension.

Think of it like this. When Minato teleports he's actually going to another dimensions where he'll be spat out to wherever he senses his chakra. Now while in said dimension he needs to be able to sense his chakra. If this weren't possible he'd appear in random places once he tried to leave the dimension. Actually, he might not be able to leave the dimension since you need to sense your own chakra to teleport to the locations where you've put your seals.

It shouldn't even come to mechanics-based arguments.

If Minato could have simply FTG'd out of kamui, it makes his and Naruto's entire fight against Obito practically meaningless as both were in no danger the entire time. Obviously kishi doesn't intend for that to be the case, thus until we see someone using a space/time other than kamui to escape the dimension, no one does.

You are correct. One cannot sense chakra from another universe. Because of this minato can neither teleport into nor escape the kamui universe.

No, I'm saying that he has to be able to sense chakra from other dimensions because while in said dimension he needs to sense his chakra to know where to leave the dimension at.
