A Proof to back this thread's theory up is to watch the ANIME's flashback of Minato and Kushina. When Minato grabbed Naruto and FTG, they appeared to go into a null space and then instantly appear out of it into a different location. Like falling down through portals in Portal/Portal 2. It's instantaneous unlike Shunshin which is fast movement like the parallels to DBZ.
I could start by being annoying and tell you, that information can travel faster than the speed of light. And it's not unthinkable, that it will be discovered that physical things can do as well, and thus teleportation. But lets not go into that sort of physics.
As for the thread I disagree. It's not that your points and facts are wrong in this thread. I completely share your view and understand your opinions, however, Kishimoto is writing the manga. However he wishes to define speed, we will have to live by. He has said (through other characters), that Minato is the fastest. Period.
Surely you may define it differently, but it doesn't really matter. It's just a story after all.
Thank you for the thread.

Thank you, man.

So, minato did NOT use FTG here?

Because tobirama did NOT say FTG, as you can see here

With the recent chapter, attention has been given to Tobirama/Minato and FTG. And unfortunately people have been saying the most ridiculous things about FTG and even when confronted with the truth, they'll let their fanboyism blind them. So for once, I'll try and clarify things for those poor souls and for other readers who want to know more about the jutsu.
What is FTG/Hiraishin ?
It's basically a Space/Time technique that allows you to teleport to a previously marked place.
What FTG is not
FTG is not about speed. There is no "MInato/Tobirama are faster than xxxx"
Speed = distance/time. S/T jutsus are "instant". Minato/Tobirama don't move when using that technique. How do I know that ? We all know that the fastest thing in the Universe is light, there is no going faster than that. Now let's compare FTG and the speed of light.
Speed of light --> Someone traveling at the speed of light would take 8 minutes to go to the Sun from the Earth
Hiraishin --> if the Sun is marked (lol it's just to demonstrate something) the user would go to the Sun instantly.
See my point
Minato's FTG faster than Tobirama's ??
NOPE. That point is proven by my "What FTG is not" part. No matter who is using FTG, it'll always be instant. That's cold hard fact. Even the Hokage Guards' Hiraishin is instant. The difference between them and Minato/Tobirama is that they have to be three to use it. So here skills is the issue not FTG.
But Minato copied and perfected it, right ? Tobirama himself said so!!
NOPE. Tobirama never said Minato perfected his Hiraishin... All he said was that Minato's shunshin was better. Shunshin was how the Hokages got on the background,
Here we see Minato using his kunai to teleport the TBB then he teleports to where Naruto was. So before that, he was using shunshin to get around the battlefield to mark it. Logic. You must be registered for see images
Here we see Tobirama praising Minato's shunshin. Like I said shunshin was what the Hokage used to get to the battlefield, not Hiraishin (because Hiraishin need you to mark the destination and the battlefield had no mark on it...) So it was logical for Tobirama to say Minato was faster since that he got here before them. You must be registered for see images
Shunshin = body flicker (what Raikage used to dodge Amaterasu; all ninja can use it) First time it was used was when Kakashi blitzed Sasuke and Naruto when they first met in Part 1. It greatly enhances the user's speed, making it seems like the user telepôrted when in fact it's just that they had been running at high speed.
Hiraishin = It's a space/time jutsu. It's not about speed. It's teleportation and it's exclusive to Tobirama and Minato (and fodder guards)
Okay, so to all DBZ fans. Remember when Goku came back after the Frieza Saga ? So he was showing off his new technique "Instant Transmission" (which is a S/T technique) Vegeta first thought he was just moving at high speed (body flicker) and that he could do it too when in fact he was just usinf IT (Hiraishin)
Even so, I keep saying Minato's FTG is better!!!
.Hm maybe. Minato was said to be a genius. He twisted Tobirama's FTG to suit his rapid fighting style. The result is FTG lvl 2. That's the only improvement I've seen so far and even that is not absolute.
FTG lvl 2 is using FTG with the seal applied to a moving object. He used it against Tobi.
Tobirama's FTG has a similar technique but lvl 2 still seems superior. Hiraishingiri.
It's a moving S/T sword slash as far as we can see. So Tobirama's FTG still holds some secrets
What about the different seals ?
.Minato and Tobirama's seals are different. Why is that so ? I have a theory. Both jutsus are basically the same.
Seal-->Teleportation
But now every ninja can add some twist to a technique. I think that's why their seals are different. Maybe Minato's seal is different to accomodate his lvl 2. We'll know for sure in the future. Or maybe the seal is different because of their chakra ? Every person's chakra is different so maybe it applies for FTG as well, like a signature of some sort
Thanks for the read guys!
And how you know THAT?!
You bringing no facts. You are ASSUMING. But that's irrelevant.
This thread hasn't proofed ANYTHING. Its just your humble opinion.
Nice thread
