Someone who is fluent in spoken Japanese and English please help.
I went to Google translator to try and find a meaning for Hiraishingiri, as I'm sure most of us have this past week. Google would only retype the word in English or give me the kanji which I don't understand.
So I typed in Hiraishin then switched that for the Japanese Kanji and translated that back to English and what Google gave me for a response was "Lighting ROD" The kanji looked like this 避雷針.
Then I typed Giri and did the same. The kanji came up like this 義理 and Google said it meant duty/honor/obligation/decency/courtesy/ and debt of gratitude.
If you go to Narutopedia.wikia.com They show the Kanji for FTG being 飛雷神の術. This Google says literally Flying Thunder God Technique. But when I translate Flying Thunder God Technique from English to Japanese the kanji from google looks like this フライング雷神テクニック.
So my question for someone who knows kanji and understands how they translate to English is, was Tobiramas tech mis-named in the translations and should have been left as Hiraishingiri or are the kanji for Minato's and Tobiramas the same?
