[Question] FT - Lucy Voice = Reason for cancelling?

I heard there was a scandal with Lucy's voice actor. But in the manga it declared that the anime will pick back up again. However, a release date was not given. It's also not mentioned if Lucy's voice actor would be any different. Maybe they wanted to hear what her sentence would be, or maybe they didn't have a back up for her voice actor.

Don't think so. That probably caused some problems but the Anime was already very close to the manga. I'd imagine that was the biggest problem they faced.
It was Lucy's voice actor, but that's been over a year ago... She had *** with all the members of the band she was with in, and that got leaked on the internet. She got fired from her company, but already found another and it did not affect her voice acting. Fairy tail only quit half year or more after this scandal... And it's been said that only every individual anime company has to see for themselves what they want to do with her voice acting career.
Besides, there's been 2 OVA's so far. And both had Lucy's original voice, so if they let her do the OVA's, I think it's pretty safe to conclude that she'll stay as Lucy in Fairy Tail

JFC can we get a sticky or something that explains what happened. People can't look at the hundreds of threads about this same topic.
Yes Lucy's VA got into some trouble, but in case you didn't notice they recently released OVA 5, and they were still doing anime episodes after she was arrested. Character's voices change all the time it wouldnt be that big of a deal if they had to. Certainly it would never signify the end of a whole series.
FT was "cancelled" because it got to close to the Manga, it is a simple as that. It is already been stated it will be back, it took all of what 5 months for that to happen. Would you rather have 2 years worth of crappy filler episodes like Naruto or just take a break?
If and I mean if they had to cancel the show because Lucy's VA got arrested then there would be a number of unreleased episodes, they don't record them a week before they air. (unless you are South Park)
Just look at the way episode 175 ended, do you really think they would close the anime like that? It is different from Bleach where they made it look like the series could be over.
