Spoiler: (Kyousei Hyouton no Jutsu) Greater Ice Technique

Description: Similar to the original, weaker technique, the Greater Ice technique allows the user to, by making a simple hand seal (Ram) produce walls, pillars, etc of snow or ice. The ice constructs are rather simple in nature but resilient and strong, with the user being able to materialize them anywhere short range (though from that point they can grow up to long range) from him from the moisture in the air. He can, however, use any proportional water source within short-long range of him to produce said constructs. These can also be directed and propelled as projectiles towards targets. In both cases, the size and possible uses are limited only by the users will, chakra and skill. It also allows the user to cool down existing moisture in the high atmosphere to bring down a snow storm, similar to the original technique yet stronger and faster acting. This snow storm will not directly harm anyone but is useful to cover the field in snow rather quickly (2 turns) and to hinder visibility, sense of touch and hearing on anyone caught inside. The user is not immune to these effects though and must spend 15 chakra points per turn to sustain the blizzard, while becoming unable to mold other elements than Water, Wind or Ice.

"Well now you should be able to create even more powerful constructs with your Ice Ninjutsu and even Blizzards, show me what you've got!"

Making the ram hand seal, Nicholas saturates the atmosphere with his ice chakra and snow begins to fall down. At first its gentle and soft, a picturesque snowfall, but soon after it begins to grown and the winds begin to pick up until it has become a certifiable blizzard. Using the cover of the snow, he then manifests a number of ice shuriken in the air around him before sending them towards his sensei, following a path that keeps them in line with the snow and making them all the more difficult to see. The shuriken aren't aimed at his sensei, of course, but pass him close by so that he's aware of what Nicholas has done.

Ho-ho! How is that, sensei?

Tasuke stood there, observing the Blizzard as it erupted around the training ground and soon consumed the surfaces it touched and even his vision became hard to see through. He stood there, coolly as his student sent Shurikens whipping passed him, Tasuke smirked in response - impressed by his student, he had truly become stronger. Well... it would've been cool if he didn't end up sneezing and shivering.

Description: The user will make a giant ether-like dragon of black snow. The dragon is capable of turning while in mid-air, and is therefore very difficult to be dodged. If it hits the opponent successfully, they will be launched high into the air afterwards.

"W-well now that we have snow, dirty snow - you can create a ether-like dragon from the Ice. Using your chakra control you should be able to turn the dragon in midair as if it were alive making it a deadlier attack hard to be dodged."

Description: The user will gather particles into the air and change them into a disk of ice. The ice disks are transparent, and they are therefore nearly invisible at a distance, and difficult to dodge or see until they are very close. They can also be used as highly durable shields or can be used to allow the user to hover in the air by using standing on it. Because of their transparency, the ice disks can be used as a large lens to focus rays of heat from the sun into a powerful beam to capable of melting or exploding a pinpointed area.

"This technique is really cool and has a numerous amount of usages. You can gather Ice into the air and create a transparent Ice Disk. You can use it to attack stealthily being almost invisible to the eye, defend as shields, float upon them or even focus rays from the sun as beams through it like a lens."

Hmm...for this technique you said I could only manifest the constructs outside of short range if done from an existing water source. What are the limits in regards to that? Would rain or snow be considered sufficient water sources? Nicholas listened to Tasuke's response, nodding along as he answered.

With that settled, and the blizzard now dispersed and the snow already dirty, Nicholas began the next two techniques. Weaving his hands together he shaped the snow on the ground in front of him into a long dragon that rose up into the air. The beast twisted and turned before taking aim towards Tasuke. Not finished, Nicholas formed a transparent lens of ice in the air above Tasuke, but instead of being aimed at him it was aimed at the now descending dragon. The lens followed the dragon and focused its energy onto the top of its head. The heat grew until it exploded just as it was nearing Tasuke, destroying the dragon and sending snow and water scattering across the field.

Hohoho! That's a fun pair of techniques, Sensei. Despite my use of it now, I take it I must maintain control of the dragon, preventing me from using other techniques while its attacking?

"No from the Rain or Snow wouldn't count, it basically means if you're standing upon a surface of snow or water you can have it rise up from underneath the opponent, like an Earth Technique that rises directly from the earth or mud."

Tasuke clapped his hands as his student put on a bit of a show.

"Yes you must maintain the Dragon and if you move on to another technique before it's done hitting it's target or moving then you're forfeiting the Dragon's action. Lets Move on, we have a few techniques that other's have shared through the experimentation with the element.

Spoiler: (Hyouton: Yuki no Tsunami) Ice Release: Giant Wave of Snow

Description: The user will place his hands on the already snow-covered ground and make the snow form a giant wave that will crash onto the enemy and bury them in snow, possibly killing them.

Description: The user will place his hands on the already snow-covered ground and focus his chakra into it. The snow will start rolling forward to form a giant ball of snow in mere seconds. The ball is big enough to crush the enemy underneath.

Touching his hand to the ground, Nicholas rolled a clump of snow forward. It began small, no bigger than a stone, but with each inch it picked up more snow and grew in size. In mere moments it was barreling towards the tree line like a runaway boulder. The snowball crashed into the trees, knocking a number of them down like bowling pins before breaking apart some ten meters into the forest.

Hmm, simple, but effective! No questions on these.

Description: With a string of two handseals, the user will create a powerful gust of wind in front of him which he will infuse with ice shards and snowflakes. Due to the constant rotation as the gust is going towards the opponent, its temperature is very low, which is also caused by the ice shards and snowflakes. When the gust hits the opponent, it will create numerous cuts on the opponent. The ice shards and snowflakes will begin to accumulate around his feet, burying them and preventing from moving.

Description: After performing the "Ice Release Technique" to create snow to descend on the battle field the user will perform a string of four handeseals, then proceed to channel their chakra into the snow. The user will levitate a portion of the snow into there hands and, using shape manipulation, compact the snow into the shape of a launcher (bazooka). Next, the user will the channel their ice chakra once more into the bazooka to fire off a giant blast of ice and snow towards the target. The downside to this, however, is that the projectile follows a linear trajectory. This technique can be used without "Ice Release Technique", but only if snow is already present in the area.
