Briefly explain the CFS to me please before we move onto the jutsus

It's similar to Gentle Fist in its appliance, except it involves channeling ice chakra to the hands, before injecting ice into the opponent's body to make them numb. Depending on how much chakra was inserted, the amount of numbing will vary. Also, instead of aiming for chakra points, this style targets things like muscles and other bodily parts.

Perfect! I did update FBF pretty thoroughly iirc. I added a movement component for sliding around, and a defensive component for growing ice from the body, especially the hands. Explain to me how these two added components strengthen the primary function of cold waves which numb the body.

Well the sliding around strengthens it by allowing the user to arrive at the targets location much faster, giving the user a better chance at numbing the target. The growing ice from the body part is good for making contact with the target, and with contact, the degree of numbness probably increases. So combined, they can be quite a large force to contend with.
