Frog Kata vs. Sharingan Precog

Which is better/more valuable in close combat?...Frog Kata or Sharingan Precog?

SIDENOTE: why did Kishi nerf Frog Kata?...is it because he thought that the idea of Naruto's missed punches actually being direct hits was too OP?...it was literally used ONCE during the Pain fight and never again...imagine Six Paths Naruto using Frog Kata.

I mean even the databook called it a "terrifying taijutsu" so I have no clue.

Sasuke's body would need to get close enough. Look at Vote 1 (only cqc ONLY) fight and treat the kyuubi cloak like an extreme version of frog kumite. That's as close naruto would get if Sasuke hasn't already been able to feel natural energy.

That's a good point, but now bolster that effect with Rikudo chakra and the distance of that ability could have been extended making it that much more dangerous. Might have even been able to counter a lower level Shinra Tensei win the force alone. An opportunity missed there.


They both have their perks. Frog Katta allows for less accuracy while precog does the opposite.

Yeah it's stupid it got nerfed. SP made Sasuke all overwhelming when he fought Naruto in VOTE and even revived Kirin for him but Naruto not only didn't use Frog Sage Mode but they didn't even give him that let alone the benefit of Frog Katta. Maybe the fight wouldn't have been so one-sided if they had stopped wanking the Uchiha for a minute and spend a bit more time on the actual main protagonist's development in this regard SMH :kk:

Well true but this one would be invisible...well maybe against Sasuke not so much, his eyes were special so could probably see the nature energy. It would also be sudden. Imagine using precog to dodge one of Naruto's chakra arms like so many did, but then just when you think you've evaded you get knocked back by this invisible force of energy and take damage for it.

That would be pretty darn handy imo.

Frog kumite is better. It's way too unpredictable and you more than likely going to be screwed if you can't sense natural energy.

2. EMS Sasuke battles SM Madara and forces him into a position where he has to parry his attack instead and commended him for his speed and reflexes.

There's no comparison. To argue that SM Naruto > EMS Sasuke is beyond retarded.

I don't think that's how it would work. It's more likely the natural energy that surrounds naruto for kata would just be several times stronger when in RSM than in normal sage mode,instead of him being a

maybe but as we saw in vote 2 even a base naruto can atleast touch sasuke, yeah it would be a fine line in taijutsu but id imagine naruto would be able to get up if he used kage buunshins

Clearly perspective, well as scenario dependent. In most cases however, Sharingan's precognition seems more utilitarian in more ways than its opposition Frog Kata.

I don't see what you're getting at here . Madara and SM naruto never had a proper taijutsu battle,madra just blitz kicked naruto and sasuke never fought madara in taijutsu. He used his kenjutsu which is completely different from taijutsu,so.......

I think he's saying the fact that Madara was able to just immediately blow away Naruto but Sasuke was able to parry him shows that Sasuke is better.
