I don't plan on ever having more than 3 elements. I think once you start getting over 3 elements, unless you have multiple characters, you are just becoming cheap and overpowered.

well... there are so many custom bone techniques that kimimaro the bone warrior made and gave me permission to use... that could be like another element....
i really did want earth... cuz theres like 500 water users on here lol
but i already chose fire... so whatever....
i am PRIMARILY wind...
and i want to be this sites #1 Wind user...

I wanted earth cause hiding in stone is rigged lol.
I did create a fire jutsu that could be strengthened by water so I like that.
I think kekkei genkais should be considered elements, ie ice is a special element that is seperate from any of the other elements. Bone like you said has so many customs for it and abilities, that should be considered an element. I think genjutsu should be considered an element(it isn't an element but in accordance to the rules it should be treated as if it is an element) I think space/time should count as 2 elements with the exception of summonings(which would be part of chakra manipulation). I think chakra manipulation should be considered an element. etc.
I think wind is sort of good, I never used it nor would I want to cause I still prefer my other 3 elements.

I actually consider 3 elements(with huge gaps in the knowledge of the jutsus(my character can't do most of them lol)) with chakra sensing ability is kind of cheap and not realistic.
