Didn't read it on my free will.
but limiting free will is a paradox, just like an omnipotent being creating laws he can't break.
if we limit something, then it is not free to be unlimited.
Free will is a concept created by religion to explain why a "god" does not control us. But, people who actually think know there is no god. We act because we must to survive in the world, not because an all-power creator gave us the ability too. (How convenient, eh?)
Lol what? What does freewill have to do with a religion? Just you choosing to believe there is no god, is free will my friend.
Freewill has everything to do with religion. xd It's not freewill, it's a choice.
Didn't read it on my free will.
If an omnipotent being had the freewill to create a law, he also has the freewill to banish that law and break it. Just like we have the free will to decide if we want to have free will or not. But all im saying is using your full free will has its consequence in tthis socety.
So yes i agree with you to an extent that freewill doesnt exist in this society. But inthe overall sense, we have freewill. If you lived in the mountains secluded, you have the freewill to do anything because there is no law preventing you from not doing it. Free will is really what you consider free will. But i think we all have freewill but have to use it wisely to benefit us.
In the first place, it's not our choice to be born, so from that point on, there is no point in talking about "free" will. You have to make decisions in every moment of your life, you have to choose something. And there is a limit to the number of choices.
then you missed the point I made and wasted your time posting......
Yeah but sometimes you have to make choices against your will lol. So free will is making a choice if you WANT to make it
So freewill and choices are two different concepts
In the first place, it's not our choice to be born, so from that point on, there is no point in talking about "free" will. You have to make decisions in every moment of your life, you have to choose something. And there is a limit to the number of choices.
so we are free to make a choice through limited choices.....but these limited choices, are again, driven by outside forces, making it not solely one's own original choice, but a combination of many aspects.
Then that's called life. Not everything will ever go your way. Some choices are hard to make, some easy. You always have the chance to choose, right or wrong.
By the way, now that you mention this, our whole life is just a waste, but we can choose from the possibilities what we waste it on...Though the 'purpose' of life is life itself, that is to maintain it, by engendering, so that our descendants can also waste their times.
Ok, i agree that being born isnt our own free will, but what free will do we have as babies? Free will is learned sub conciously, even if ee grow up not knowing we have free will, your brain knows it deep down. And i agree wih you again, but making those choices is your free will , and you have to use your freewill to the surroundings around you. Socitey has restrictions
Who said that it isn't the combination of many factors? Maybe some religious people...
