I don't think that Minato is the strongest to ever live, but Hashirama hype and fanboyism has gone through the roof for no reason at all other than some dumb comments made by Madara.

Now that is going too far.
Hashirama was the first Hokage after all, and his mastery of the elements he has is probably far greater than Kakashi's.
Kakashi's strategy of hiding in the ground to pop up and raikiri people would be ineffective as Mokuton comes from the ground.

minato was always said to be the strongest. many characters have said so over the years. if you think it was only to build some dialogue between characters, then your wrong.just saying.

stop I'm doubting he can even beat tsunade because of her high chakra and healing abilities but mokuton and other elements may too much for kakashi; kakashi's only effective tech vs hashi is kamui xd 4th hokage would have been the strongest hokage if he reached his peak/prime but since hiruzen was in his prime and is a legend he is the strongest xd

yeah they definitely never said hey was the strongest that lived nobody ever did ever. As for the Hashirama hype i agree it's annoying

Kishi himself said that minato was unrivaled. Then he says thru iruka that in his prime the 3rd was the strongest hokage. Now he's on hashirama. Kishi is confusing up and it's annoying. But if you ask me. I say minato is the strongest just because he's the main characters father and since the first chapter of the manga naruto has been striving to become stronger than minato. If minato wasn't the strongest then why would naruto push to be at minatos level? Why not hashirama or hiruzen. See what I'm saying?

Not a 1st fan boy but, Kakashi is nothing compared to him. Hashirama is the only recorded person to ever defeat Madara Uchiha and the 5 Kages are having trouble defeating him right now. Now let me ask again.

What ability? So far if he were only using Hashirama's abilities Madara would have been killed multiple times.
Also, Hashirama's jutsus have done literally nothing to the kages. That world tree jutsu with the pollen, it did nothing!!
None of the mokuton attacks have done a single thing to the kages, and there are manga pages to prove it. Literally the only attacks that have either saved Madara or injured the kages have been from Madara himself.
Defense- preta path (multiple times, rinnegan ability)
Susanoo - (used fairly constantly, EMS ability)
edo regeneration (because he is an edo, not Hashirama's abilities)
Offensive attacks that have actually done something -
Meteors (rinnegan)
Susanoo sword(ems)
fire jutsu (Madara's regular jutsu)
Yasaka Magatama (EMS)
So please find me a mokuton attack that has connected and done anything at all to the 5 kages. Find me a manga page, just one will do.

ur forgetting that he used the meteors before the fight started with the 5 kages...n from the moment he started battling with the 5 kages his main jutsu has been wood release and u knw it, yes he used susanoo n fire release but he also used wood clones too. he has been using hashirama's wood release for most of his battle with the kages and has just been in his susanoo for defence. he's been using the mokuton and ranting about how great hashirama was.

He has been using the mokuton for most of the battle and that is the point of my post. All the mokuton abilities have done literally nothing to anyone.
Find me a manga page where Hashirama's abilities have done something to the 5 kages.
Everything that has been damaging has been either a rinnegan or an EMS jutsu, how are you not getting this?
Don't bring up clones, as anyone can make clones out of anything, it is not an ability restricted to Hashirama like mokuton is.
