Fourth Great Ninja War and Naruto

Whats going to happen to naruto and the nine tails state ... will he tame it ... will he just run out of time ? I dont think sage mode will work because he needs to stay still and all ... unless he creates a shadow clone after nine tails state to build up sage mode chakra. The fourth great ninja war still doesnt look too bright.
