Rin isn't his only reason. He just ain't revealing his true intentions. All we know is that Madara said "It's as if you magically slipped through." meaning he most likely enabled the intangibility RIGHT before he died. If not, perhaps Zetsu saved him, don't know. But Madara found him by coincidence and fused him with Hashirama's body, I'm pretty sure Madara ain't gonna waste a body of the 1st Hokage on someone he's just gonna let go. We don't know enough info on how Obito survived, or any of that. Kishi will give us a good explanation.

I do agree Kishi was most likely gonna be like "Tobi is Madara.. Lets have the uchiha leader as the final villian." then, he changed his mind, however we could be wrong about that too. Only time will tell.

That would make things even worse, how do you logically explain going from a two-tomoe Sharingan to a MS, and then using an MS technique almost instantly? That would be like part 1 Sasuke unleashing his Susanoo against Gaara. lmao There's no way.

I don't know. I think he knew before he even started writing Shippuden. When Kakashi Gaiden came out, I was thinking "oh cool some Kakashi back story, sweet!" However now with this new revelation, I think he released Kakashi Gaiden just for this moment, So people weren't left thinking "Who the **** is Obito?"

What's wierd is, speaking of acting, at first he acted like goofy ass Tobi, then started acting all deep and serious, pretending he was Madara. Now we truly don't know who Obito is, because the way he is acting in the present is completely contradictory to the way he was in the past. There is still the long haired Tobi factor too. I'm with you, I have always enjoyed Kishi's writing and I think he does a great job. He portrayed these two forms of Tobi for a reason. What that reason is, I have no idea...

obito is acting as madara. remember he lived with madara for years so it wouldnt be hard for him to imitate madara

You are right.He is probably Madara.I don't think that Itachi would get fooled so easily.But Tobi (the short haired one) is 200% Obito.Everyone should know that by now.

thank you. if you wana check my threads i recently made one implying obito and itachi were both madaras students, and that madara recruited itachi and kisame himself and for some reason paired them together.
