Forgive me....but does this guy not seem like Madara here?

I am saying this with all honesty...I am over it! I have accepted what the manga has given me, but please forgive me for my persistence......when I read these pages from the story....it just does not seem like the man behind that mask is Obito..........what do you think?

In the following page, the man behind the mask is being held right next to his former teammate and friend, I understand that Obito had to make sure that the impression he gave about himself as Madara should be flawless, but still.....

And most of all this following page has to be the most controversial in my mind.....because frankly, Obito cannot be that good of an actor. I have always loved Kishi's writing, and unlike most casual so called fans of this manga, I have never doubted Kishimoto and this manga, but seriously, this page contradicts almost everything. I truly believe Kishimoto has tried to take the manga into a totally new experimental direction by making Tobi into Obito and providing an unconvincing back story. I hate myself for this, but I feel it is the truth.

Regardless though........I will continue to watch Naruto and his exploits, at this point it is too late to doubt the manga and its writer because I love it too damn much...

Eh, we don't know what happened between Madara and Obito yet. The man behind the mask is indeed Obito, it has been proven. Although, Obito is a damn good actor, look at Madara in the recent chapter, he's acting as if he cares about the world, trying to manipulate Obito.

What I think happened is that Madara taught Obito all he knew, knowledge wise, fighting wise, etc. So he can stay hidden in identity, he needed to know all Madara knew to put the "behind the mask is Obito" down from anyone's mind. So when he put on this fake identity it'd be flawless, like he was really Madara Uchiha himself.

I feel the same way as you. It's sad, but this evidence (and much much more) just proves that Kishi ment for Tobi to be Madara, however, he later changed his mind obviously, lets just hope it will turn out better this way, although I doubt it's even possible.

All I can say is that I'm glad I'm not the only who can see just how stupid Tobi being Obito really is. It all feels like a really bad fanfic from him "slipping" trough the rocks, to Rin being his motivation behind taking over the world, to Madara being a senior citizen on Senju life support, etc etc. I'm still gonna continue to read the manga for the simple fact that I grew up with it, but still..

I hope so too, and in a certain way it does seem better. But all the Madara/Tobi badassery from before that I hold in highest regard just goes down the gutter due to this...........and that is the part that is sad for me......

Rin isn't his only reason. He just ain't revealing his true intentions. All we know is that Madara said "It's as if you magically slipped through." meaning he most likely enabled the intangibility RIGHT before he died. If not, perhaps Zetsu saved him, don't know. But Madara found him by coincidence and fused him with Hashirama's body, I'm pretty sure Madara ain't gonna waste a body of the 1st Hokage on someone he's just gonna let go. We don't know enough info on how Obito survived, or any of that. Kishi will give us a good explanation.

I do agree Kishi was most likely gonna be like "Tobi is Madara.. Lets have the uchiha leader as the final villian." then, he changed his mind, however we could be wrong about that too. Only time will tell.

So you are saying someone in the manga can't act that good? They can spit fire, fly, walk on water, read minds, transform, but they can't be good actors, no.

(but, ok, look i think i get your point.... too many elements spanning over too many chapters and for years, pointing to Tobi being or not Obito, being or not Madara. it is not all that unlikely that Kishimoto himself hadn't decided on the answer from the very beginning, because had it been simply Obito, in Kishi's head, right from the start, there would be no need to drag Madara in the story at all. Kishi could had made it work with Nagato and the akatsuki and Orochimaru. the story would be different from what it is, but... it's possible that there were times Kishi thought to make Tobi Madara.)

He had bandage over his head and his lower face was never shown, for example. The name clue was always there aswell, Zetsu calling Tobi a good boy. Also he looked exactly like Obito with the hair. And Tobi never had a pointy chin like Madara and Izuna (Small detail).
Noticed how Zetsu always called Tobi Tobi when everyone called him Madara? See, there were many clues. The Obito theories came about as soon as Tobi himself.
