Forbidden jutsu's

hey everyone,

I was wondering about the difrent forbiden jutsu's we've seen througout the naruto saga like reaper death seal and impure world resurection but what make forbiden jutsu's forbidden and if they are forbidden why do ppl use em anyways??

2 things make something forbidden
1. it violates nature (bringing people back from the dead like edo tensei)
2. it causes serious personal harm to the user (killing you like reaper death seal, or various levels of pain or death from the 8 inner gates)

and so far it doesn't seem like a punishment to use forbidden jutsu unless you're like orochimaru and killing and kidnapping to do research on them, forbidden is just a title they slaped on it so everyone doesn't learn it or use it without serious need.

Forbidden Justus typically consist of dark unnatural ninjutsu that usually alters the natural course of life. Forbidden jutsus are typically very dangerous to use and usually have deadly repercussions though they hold immense power and strength.
