Wrong. Ball, ball is life.

What is Kinjutsu, and what do you think is the most interesting aspect, considering it?
Kinjutsu are ninjutsu techniques that have been classified as forbidden. Otherwise, not allowed to be used. Some because of the irreversible damage they may cause to the user and similar things, or others that violate the laws of nature like bringing the dead back to life. The most notably interesting aspect is bringing the dead back to life. Though the abilities created/used by Hiruko and Kakuzu also interest me. I believe through Medical Kinjutsu, similar things could be accomplished. Which directly require regular Kinjutsu of course. The Medical Kinjutsu techniques like Chiyo's is also interesting, which at the end of the day follow the same concept of "ordinary" Kinjutsu in the fact that they are techniques forbidden from being used. They just so happen to require medical knowledge to utilize.

I'll be teaching you Medical Kinjutsu as well, I believe if you head into that. Nonetheless, let's get to it, then. I'll shortly talk about the technique, and I want you to elaborate, talk about it a bit, ask questions, etc.

(Kinjutsu: Shoushagan no Jutsu) - Forbidden Technique: Vanishing Facial Copy Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points:N/A
Description: Shoushagan no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique used for spying. A dark technique, the jutsu involves the removal of the face of the person to be impersonated. By wearing their face and clothing, the ninja can impersonate the original without others being aware.

Want another face? Cut off a ninja's, and wear it. Pretty much the Many Faced God right here, go around taking faces, and people will fear you. A simple technique, outside of its cruelty, and gore (like, does that face not stink?).

Yeah I'll definitely want to learn the Medical branch of Kin, its what slightly interests me the most, aside from the obvious summoning technique. As far as this one goes, in the manga it might have proved useful but in our RP not so much. The reason is because we have ways to sense chakra on a more accurate scale, smell, perceive etc etc. It would surely aid to potentially sneak into a village but I just do't think so. My questions I suppose are whether or not you can mimic their voice and scent? Or just their actual face and clothing as it suggests. This technique is a great example of an ordinarily looking ninjutsu technique that has been forbidden from being used, do to its dark nature, but not necessarily its unworldly power.

Just the face and clothes, though a third part technique could probably mimic the scent and voice, so yeah, not that useful in today's meta, but pretty dark to do. And nice RP stuff.

(Kinjutsu: Tajū Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) Forbidden Technique: Multiple Shadow Clones Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short
Chakra: 70 (Total chakra is divided equally between the number of clones and the user)
Damage: N/A
Description:
This technique is essentially a massive version of the Shadow Clone Technique. Instead of a maximum of 4 clones, it creates up to 8 shadow clones of the user. This is considered a kinjutsu, because it can potentially be dangerous to the person performing it, seeing as how all of the clones are given an equal amount of chakra directly from the user. Each clone is equal to the ones created by the original, simpler technique and can use all the techniques the user can.
Note: Usable only once per battle, disabling the further use of clones of any kind for the rest of the match.

The most spammed technique in the series, doesn't need much of an explanation. It's clones, just 8 instead of 4 can be made, and due to its strain, its dangerous. Other than that, its basically a crazy technique, cause they all can do things individually, making it difficult for your opponent to cope with the onslaught.

This technique is high on the short list of preferred Kinjutsu I like. The other obvious one being Edo Tensei. But as far as this technique goes, I have future plans for it, trying to incorporate it into the NW without actually killing myself by dividing my pool by 9. As you said, its a technique we all know, so I don't think there is much to go over. The main difference is its usage limit and later restriction after the fact.

Indeed, now to the big one.

( Kuchiyose Kinjutsu: Edo Tensei ) - Forbidden Summoning Technique: Impure World Reincarnation
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 40 (-20 per ressurrection per turn)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation is a forbidden technique used to revive the dead. To perform this technique, the user must first acquire some of the DNA of the person they intend to revive such as limbs, organs or merely blood samples. The soul of the intended revived must also reside in the pure world (jōdo) those whose soul has been consumed by the Death God, or have been previously sealed by other methods cannot be resurrected. Next, a living sacrifice is required for the soul of the resurrected to use as a vessel. Once all prerequisites for the technique have been met, the acquired DNA of the person is smeared on a special scroll and once the scroll is activated, the remains spread out in the form of a special seal with the living sacrifice in the centre. Then dust and ash encase the sacrifice's body, giving them the same appearance that the revived had at the time of their death. The person is then revived and the end product is usually stored in a casket until summoned by the user by performing the Tiger → Snake → Dog → Dragon → Clap hands handseals. When the user summons the revived soul, a casket first appears before revealing the revived soul. The Edo Tensei Summoning can be countered by sealing away the targets soul or by having the summoner cancel the technique. As they are unlikely to do this voluntarily, using a genjutsu to trick them into cancelling the technique is ideal. The sequence of hand seals for cancelling the technique is Rat → Ox → Monkey → Tiger → Dragon → Boar and saying Kai. If the summoner dies before the technique is deactivated, then this method is impossible. If the summoned soul's controlling tag is overcome or disabled by a technique or if the user so wishes it, the summoned soul or the user can both sever the contract through the use of the Snake → Ram → Boar → Dog → Tiger seals. The summoned soul is then left as an immortal revived soul, autonomous and without any link to the summoner.
Note: A bio can only have up to a total of three souls for revival which must abide by a few rules, specific for the technique.
Note: The user of the technique can only have up to 2 KGs or one special biography in the battle field at a given time, including the users own living bio.
Note: The Edo Summons pertain to the bio and not the user, and only one of the bios of the user can use Edo tensei
Note: A member must attain biographies in an offical match approved by 2 roleplay moderators for both the revival and sacrifice and cannot be given a biography willingly.
Note: Tobirama, Orochimaru and Kabuto bios can summon up to 3 revived souls while all other bios can only summon one.
Note: Technique can only be used once per battle.

Another famous technique, loved it when I saw it. Talk a bit about it, its quite a process but worth it in the end. Also, imagine the RP ;-;. That's why I always liked reading Serpent's fights where he brought out B, it was nice RP.

It is one of the most famous techniques in the series, and definitely one of the most interesting ones. As you said, its also one of my favorites in our RP, like of course not in the top of my list, I just always enjoyed looking at Freddy's fights and actions with it. Since I've joined, I've only truly seen him use the Edo Tensei, even though others have hyped it greatly. I remember when he first got the Killer B bio, is was pretty epic, specially when he was told he could use the CEs and stuff.

Anyways, moving onto the actual technique; To actually perform it, you need a target's DNA, the one want to bring back to life. This is no easy task as you have to make sure there is some form of their body left in an official fight. And also, it has to be approved by 2 RP Moderators. Only souls residing in the pure world can be called back. This means that people that have been sealed by the Death God, or some other fuuin customs or spacetime customs, may possibly not work. This is more or less cosmetic, unless the person you are wanting to fight killed themselves via the Shinigami Technique.

The next step which is likely the harder one is to acquire a living sacrifice. This means you actually have to win a fight without truly killing your opponent, nowadays that's difficult. After obtaining the living sacrifice, a special scroll will be placed under the target, smeared with blood to perform the ritual, reviving the soul of the DNA used. The person will come back to "life" and be stored in a casket to be summoned later on via a longish sequence of hand seals.

"The summoned soul is then left as an immortal revived soul, autonomous and without any link to the summoner. " What happens if the user dies in battle, and their Edo Summon is left freely to roam? Is the OOC user able to control said Edo? I would hope some form of leeway is allowed as otherwise that statement shouldn't even be stated in the technique.

Special traits about the Edo Summons are that they have an infinite amount of Chakra Supply and that they can regenerate if they are destroyed? The user can have up to three sacrifices of any kind basically. However on the field, he is limited to have 2 KGs or one special biography, this includes the user's own bio. This means that the higher tier the Edo User is, the more they are restricted. For example, I'll be placing this technique on my Luffy bio and since he is a HA user, he is not classified as a special bio. This means that my options are much more open, allowing me to go for things such as Test bios, or simply high tier bios in general. The cool thing about having three summoned options, although not at once unless you are one of the aforementioned bios, is that you can pick and choose depending on the situation. This technique is obviously best used and applied in the NW.

I only have a few roaming questions. One of the being, can the summoning be stopped beforehand, like when Hiruzen released shuriken towards the caskets when Orochimaru first tried to summon Edos in the series? And also, are we able to control the edos even after our bio has been knocked unconscious or some form of genjutsu has affected them? Im generally curious at the extent of the Edo Puppet when the user is out of commission or even dead.

Indeed they have unlimited chakra, and they regenerate after a turn I believe. It can indeed be interrupted, especially due to the hand seals (though it follows the general rules of interrupting someone, I assume). Other questions answered via Skype.

( Kinjutsu: Edo Fūmetsu ) - Forbidden Technique: Impure World Seal Destruction
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user claps their hands, causing a coffin, much like the ones used in Impure World Reincarnation, to erupt from a portal near the opponent. The coffin opens up, and ghostly arms reach out from the coffin and catch the opponent. If they successfully catch the opponent, he will be immobilized and unable to react. The arms drag him into the coffin and take him to the netherworld, a dimension separate from reality and which can only be escaped from via Space/Time techniques.
Note: The arms reach only up to short range of the coffin's position
Note: This technique can only be used twice per battle.

This one is pretty cool, but limited as well. Just talk about it a little.

Basically an Edo-Tensei summoning casket, but instead of containing an Edo, it releases ghastly hands that attempt to drag the opponent into another dimension. My questions are on how far away this can be made from the opponent, as the arm's reach is only 5m and if upon being touched, they are unable to mould chakra? I remember the old version, or perhaps a different technique having that clause. The unable to react bit is a what makes me question it. My other question is if this means we'd be unable to use their soul's for edo tensei and that they technically woudn't die, as they are simply in a different dimension?

Once they are caught, they are immobilized. And it can be made within the person's range, so possibly Short range, and within it. And yes, the body can't be used for Edo Tensei, as one, you can't actually access it anyway.

( Kinjutsu: Koutou Kousei ) - Forbidden Technique: Oral Rebirth
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique allows the user to experience a near total rebirth of their physical form. Should a significant portion of their body be damaged in battle, the user can emerge from their mouth and cast off the skin of their former body. This new body will not bear the brunt of the damage of the previous incarnation; however, the technique is generally not a full recovery.
Note: This technique may be used only twice per battle.

Also very famous, I don't think it needs a lot of explanations. You literally rebirth from your body through your own mouth, leaving behind your old body like shedding it. Smart to use this if you've been damaged in a certain way. But a combination of this and Medical Ninjutsu, equals a pretty cool ability.

My only question is whether or not this technique allows you to rebirth from lost limbs and things of that nature, organs and such, aside from things that would instantly kill you, like decantation. Also the process doesn't seem to take long, correct? Sure it isn't super fast, but it doesn't seem to take 1 full turn exclusively like some other heal-oriented techniques. This just seems like a more of a shedding technique and then go about your business.

Yeah, I'd say a regrowth of a limb is within the scope of the rebirth. And yeah, its quite fast, especially if you see how fast Orochimaru did it in the anime. Just popped out, like wot.

(Kinjutsu: Doro Ningyō) Forbidden Arts: Mud Golem
Type: Supplementary
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short
Chakra: 70 (-20 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description:
The user will put his hands into the Bird handseal while releasing his chakra into the ground. Using the ground as a medium, the user will form from it, a copy of any ninja in contact with the ground that he so desires. The copies will initially be brown, similar to earthen statues, gradually transforming into virtually pitch perfect copies of the targets. These copies cannot talk though they can act on their own as long as the user keeps the handseal made and keeps fueling it with his chakra. The copies will be able to use any of the elements the target might be able to use but only up to S-Rank, drawing the needed chakra from the user. If contact with the ground is broken by the user or if he releases the handseal, the copies will crumble and be lost though the copies can still leap and break contact with the earth to fight.
Note: Can only make 1 copy of each target
Note: Usable once
Note: Copies last up to 5 turns or until the technique is ended by releasing the handseal
Note: While focusing on the technique, the user cannot mold his chakra for any other technique; doing so ends the technique
Note: Copies cannot use custom jutsu taught or owned by the target but can use his elemental KG or CE

Form the Bird hand seal, and focus your chakra into the ground, using it as a medium to copy any ninja that is currently on the ground. This creates a brown like copy, kinda like a statue, which then forms into a perfect copy of the ninja copied. They can't talk, but are maintained through the hand seal, allowing it to use any elements (including elemental KG or CE) of the original target, up to S rank, drawing from your chakra pool. If contact with the ground, or hand seal is lot, its destroyed.

Yay, a technique that is based on earth, but isn't actually earth release! Leeway into using it! U_U (I know there is another one that is actually Earth Based sadly lol.) This technique as you described is pretty clear cut. My only question is whether or not there is a number limit on the number of Ninja that can be copied? It restricts only 1 copy per shinobi. And regarding its range, it specifies anyone in contact with the ground, but limited to short range of the user? That's a shame! XD can't do it to your enemy?

Range must be a typo >,> And I don't think it has a limit as to how many can be copied, considering you have to maintain it the whole time. Nonetheless, to the Earth one.

(Kinjutsu Doton Soseijutsu: Shishi Dojō) Forbidden Earth Resurrection Technique: Corpse Soil
Type: Supplementary
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 5 per corpse (150) (-10 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: This technique is called the "ultimate earth-element resurrection technique" because it focuses upon using the earth itself as a medium to revive corpses. By utilising soil in the local ground, the user can revive the fallen present there in one of two ways. The first version allows the user to seemingly continuously resurrect a large number of slain people as zombies, but with none of their rationality, physical prowess, or techniques at their disposal. They are fairly easy to destroy, capable of enduring little more than Taijutsu and D-Rank Ninjutsu. The amount of zombies raised is directly proportional to the chakra spent to search through the ground and awaken the corpse's remains. Some corpses may not be in a perfect state, being deteriorated or decomposed, in which case, earth will form the missing areas into functional parts. If the technique is deactivated either by the user or if the user is killed, the zombies will immediately turn to dust. The second version allows the user to bring a person back as a perfect resurrection, able to use all their skills from when alive, with the addition of a preset directive the person is forced to obey despite being consciously aware. Unlike the Impure World Reincarnation technique, the soul is not bound to the body nor can the user completely overcome the targets personality. In this case, the user needs access to both a large amount of chakra as well as the fresh, preserved corpse of the target. The limitation of this technique is that, while with Impure World Reincarnation one can summon the pre-prepared revived ninjas at any time and how many times one needs by summoning them, with this technique, the user can only use it once and cannot prepare it beforehand. This means that the user will either need to bring a sealed corpse and perform the technique in the midst of battle or perform it in a fallen enemy who will then be used for as long as is necessary. Another difference is that the revived ninja is not immune to damage and will not regenerate if damaged though injury is not enough to stop it and the corpse will continue to work and function while it has some way to do so. At any time, by performing a Snake hand seal and snapping their fingers, the caster of this technique releases the resurrected targets, turning them into loose soil.
Note: The technique can only be used once.
Note: First version will produce how many corpses the user is willing to pay chakra for, all of which will last until destroyed.
Note: Second version can only be used in one corpse and requires access to a corpse which will not be usable anymore once the technique or the battle ends but that can last while chakra is fueled to sustain it or the technique is ended.
Note: In either cases, defeating the caster of the technique ends the technique.
Note: To use a corpse, the user must have sealed it in an official fight, approved by an RP Moderator, linking to which, upon reviving, is mandatory.

I'll have you elaborate on it. :pkun:

This is basically a lesser version of Edo Tensei that has two different applications. One, you can revive fallen shinobi via the soil in the ground, with no limit so long as you fuel enough chakra. The only thing is that they'll be more zombie than anything, and are limited to very little, not capable of even using techniques and enduring up to D rank tai/nin damage. The second application is reviving a fresh corpse with their full abilities. However the corpse has to be checked by RP Moderators before being used for the technique. The corpse lasts until fueled or the battle ends. (Event or individual battle?) Unlike Edo, these dont generate but they can still fight after being injured. My only question is if the user spends chakra for the techniques of the corpse, or if the corpse has their own pool of chakra, which is doubtful.

I believe its the users' chakra, and it lasts until the end of the event, considering that a moderator has to check it, only a battle would be kind of a waste. Other than that, I think we're done with Kin, no? Yes.
