Fma or death note

As a whole, FMA is definitely better. Characters, plot, action, drama, humor, the whole nine yards. For me, though, Death Note was the first anime I watched in full, and I've always loved it more than FMA. Plus, it's got one of the most intriguing plots and two of the best characters ever

Both are just as good, imo. It's hard to compare them when both are so different to each other.

Death Note was a great series, but it felt as though it dragged on in certain episodes. I found FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood to be more enjoyable throughout with a satisfying conclusion (Death Note's ending wasn't bad at all, though it felt a bit abrupt).

I rank both very close in my Top 10 list of anime but I'll have to choose FMA: Brotherhood this time around.

I feel the same way, but about FMA.
L was my favorite character and I wanted him to arrest light. Light dying was a good ending.
As for FMA, Father was a God and him being weakened seemed like an asspull.

Endings are really important for me. And FMA:B's ending arc was one of the best I've ever seen. Death Notes.... not so much.

Death Note had a better mid section though.
