flaw in the war

does anyone find it odd that tobi who is supposed to be super smart would have lost this war in 2 seconds, had kabuto not showed up and gave him a edo army. i mean the white zetzu army would have caused confusion for a bit. having the tailed beast was his only real plan. i know they are powerful but a 5 nation army would take them down easy

i think he would have been fine(kishi did it to spice up the story)
but like there was a flaw in his plan or a risk thats y he tryed to talk to them(gokage) first
the was was to drag out 8and 9 tails then when they got out tobi would teleport and grab em...bringing the battle to the jinchuriki's up...see what im saying? the story would have been shorter but we weould still be seeing the same fighting minus the edo

No...he's right....think about it....if the white Zetsu army, who was basically a distraction of Tobi to move as he saw fit....but even that was only momentarily since Naruto came into play and help completely obliterate them all.....

Secondly, without the Edo army....it'll just be Tobi and the Mado Geza vs everyone else....and that would be a raping all in itself....

My post was a joke..but anyway:

Indeed, but he's capable of teleporting himself away until he's able to use it again.

He's shown the ability to use doton when he went underground.

I don't know of anyone who is capable of killing Tobi right now. Not because everyone is too weak to do it, but because of his evasive abilities.

tobi's real plan for the war was to win at night. having transformed zetsu's start killing off the joint shinobi army's ninjas. and it would've worked if it weren't for naruto.
and of course tobi didn't think naruto could sense malice.
