The reason the earth appears flat from any height is that no matter how high you are, the distance between your eyes and the horizon will be the same regardless of distance. To actually see the curvature of the earth, you would have to be significantly further up.

You only have to be 35k or roughly 10k meter to see the earths curvature. Airplanes go around 30k feet in the air and weather balloons can go up to 120k feet in the air. There is never a curvature unless they use fish eye lens which distorts the image.

First and foremost: Why would nasa lie about the shape of the planet? it doesn't seem to me like anyone would actually go "Oh, the earth is a sphere, rather than a disc. i guess i will abandon my revolutionary plans". That is the biggest problem with all conspiracy theorys, the government is hiding something because they are evil because they don't want people to know the truth because they are evil because...


Second:If the earth is going through space at a good deal more than 1000mph, then we wouldnt feel it because we are inside the earth's atmosphere. if you have ever been in a car, you will notice that you only feel the car moving when it accelerates or slows, and the earth is moving at a constant speed.

third: Why would the all-so-omnipotent government fail to cover up the UN's flag. Flags are not arguments, they are designs.

Fourth: If every image of earth from space is photoshopped, then why would you believe that a real photo is real. 11 to 17 thousand satellites worth of evidence can apparently be photoshopped away, without a single person owning up to the fact? you don't understand humanity.

Ah, nothing like 21st century idiocy.

Have you ever heard of cults, fads, and entertainment? It's an opportunity for much of the world to feel good about themselves by bringing ridiculous ideals to centre stage. This group is serious about there claims much as most cult-type groups are, and the rest of the world is entertaining themselves by giving these people the time of the day. It just makes the general population 'feel good' by being able to say "At least I'm not as messed up as those guys." Soon enough, everyone will get bored of it and go on to something new.

A perfect example is the show American Idol and the audition portion. Every once in awhile they allow someone to embarrass themselves in front of the judges. Like completely embarrass themselves. For people who have auditioned before, they know that there are several smaller auditions that happen before you reach the televised judges and a lot of regular people don't make it that far. For entertainment value, they send one or two crazy people (Who often believe they are actually good) up to the judges to make utter fools of themselves. Same thing happens with the media. We all know that this group is out of their mind, but they are spotlighted so that we can have a good laugh.
