Fist of the First Men

A landmark bordering the Port of Innovus, the Fist of the First Men, known as the Fist, is a landlocked fortress constructed around the same time as the Port. Likely built by the first humans, evidence has here of a great battle between man and beast. The Fist is situated atop a tall hill, giving all an excellent commanding view of the surrounding lands and a key strategic advantage to any who hold this landmark. It is a naturally defensible position with a convenient escape route to the west to reach the Port of Innovus. It is unclear what battle happened here, or why the first humans were seemingly forced to construct a fortress for their safety.

Coming from here [ X ]

This post marks the beginning of my mission using these storyboard elements:
  • Alter the terrain of a landmark to claim it for your village ( 3 )
  • Explore an abandoned site ( 2 )
Summary: Traveling the lands gathering Intel, Geets and Boit reach a large fortress high atop a large hill. In awe of it's spectacular appearing Vegeta tell's Boit to continue forth up the hill as he takes in all the land has to offer with his eyes. He would examine the fortitude of the structure, as the land looked war torn and all but abandoned by humans years ago and the fortress was sure to have suffered damage from battles as well as time itself. Vegeta decides this would make a great addition, and decides he is claiming it for the Kage and glory of Tsumigakure..

After quite the journey thru these new and strange lands, Vegeta and his trusty steed Boit finally arrive at a place worth further investigation. Boit would sense out the lands just as his master would, Vegeta being in sage mode and having his Byakugan active he quickly took in the entire terrain and the surrounding area's. What caught his mind more than the scars of an obvious struggle, was the large castle like structure on the highest grounds in the land.

Keep your wits and senses about you Boit, a struggle occurred here and who know's if the victors are still around..

As the large snake worked it's way up the hillside, Vegeta focused his eyes more on the immediate area trying to piece together what could have possibly happened to cause so much damage. Vegeta could see in the ground the remains of what seemed like large animals and humans, and from the deterioration it seemed they had all died around the same if not the same time. He pictured a glorious battle between warriors and an army of savage beasts that ended with both sides in tatters. Perhaps there was no victor that day..

At last they reach the top of the hill, and the fort was even bigger than he imagined. He was looking with his xray vision at the insides, including the lower levels and what appeared to be a dungeon section probably for holding prisoners. The structure was indeed impressive, however it also appeared that much work would be needed to undo the damage of war and time. About 30 meters from the front gate, Vegeta dismounts the mighty serpent, nodding at Boitata to stay..

Hang back and stay ready at all times, you know all my signals by now..

Boit lets out a "Ssss" noise and his tongue flickers, the fiery quills on his back stand up as he straightens his body vertically, taking in the new view. You could see everything in all directions from up here. Now wonder they built the fort here, Geets thinks after seeing what Boitata was up to. He would then take himself a nice stroll around the perimeter of the fort and personally inspect the exterior. Doing so reveals many breached area's as he expected. There was a dried up ditch that ran along par of the fort, forming what he guessed was some sort of moat. At the end of the ditch he see's a bridge that leads to a large fortified entrance, however the gate had been smashed open. He walks in and begins to quickly make his way around. An interior walk of the building thru reveals much of the same as his walk outside, much damage and wear that needed fixing if they were to reuse this structure. He explored every inch of the fortress bottom to top, finding beast and human remains from the battle scattered all about. Just as he suspected, whomever had won that fight didn't stick around to redecorate. Seems that would be his job..

Reaching into his pouch of holding, Vegeta pulls out a scroll and grabs an ink brush. Using his fine artistic skills Vegeta begins to draw a revised version of the fortress. He used the same layout for the most part, whoever designed the place was a strategical mastermind. However he added some special items thru out the fort in the drawing for when his village mates arrived. The fort got a makeover, Sin style. Where the gate was, above it he draws a huge sign with their villages symbol adorning it telling any who came who's fortress this now was. He did make some minor improvements, adding a more open area as well as a spire on the top higher than now so that the vantage point was even greater. He also kept the dungeon area intact. With that done, he walks back towards Boit and explains his plan while stretching the scroll out along the ground and admiring his handy work. With that he makes one hand seal and concentrates his earth chakra into the structure, searching for the weakest points all thru out the large fort. With a huge rumble followed by bellows of smoke, the fort collapses in on itself, and is no more, crumbling to nothingness. Whoever built it would be proud once the see the replacement Vegeta had in store.

OK Boit, here goes..

Molding more earthen chakra, he bites his thumb and makes 5 seals, slamming his hand to ground on the scroll. What follows was a huge poof and a ton of smoke filling the air, and just as fast as the structure was destroyed, a new one appears in it's place. Vegeta summons large amounts of stone that he molds into the shape of the designs on the scroll, forming the fort exactly like it was before however modernized and refortified. He ninja jumps up to the top of the spire and on a pole like pillar of stone he hangs a flag with the Village of Sins symbol that would flow in the wind, matching the symbol above the front gate. He would worry about making a proper front door and the rest of the decor at another date. He takes himself a quick tour thru and is very pleased with himself, so he quickly rejoins Boitata and admires his work while taking a well deserved break..

(Doton: Iwa Yado Kuzushi) - Earth Release: Stone Lodging Destruction
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A (up to 60)
Descripton: The user will do one hand seal and cause nearby earth structures (either natural occurring ones on the field (such as cave ceilings, cliffs, etc), man made (buildings, etc) or jutsu made (up to C-Rank active structures)) to collapse and fall. This technique allows the ninja to control nearby stone and rock and dislodge any vulnerable or sensitive spots, causing the structure to collapse. This can be especially useful if in a cave or a stone lodging. The technique can loosen the rocks and cause them to come raining down on whomever is trapped inside. The damage depends on the size of the cavern or rock lodging above or nearby the target and not on the amount of chakra used which doesn't need to be high. A large cave with a thick ceiling can easily do the physical damage equivalent to an A-Rank technique but due to the damage not being focused or chakra fueled, its also easily defendable.
(Doton: Uitenpen) - Earth Style: Wheel Of Fortune
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Descripton: The user will bite his thumb and perform the Boar → Monkey → Bird → Monkey → Ram hand seals, slamming their hand into a scroll on the ground. This technique is a combination of the Summoning Technique and an Earth Release technique. The user summons a large amount of rock from a giant canyon which, during the process of being summoned through this technique, he shapes into a design he outlined previously in a scroll. This allows the user to change the topography of the map and create any earthen feature he needs from pillars to gorges, canyons, mountains or simply plains. If the user wants to or is defeated, the alteration ends as any summon eventually does. Additionally he can use (Doton: Dimenshon Fuudo Shihai) - Earth Release: Dimension Topography Control at any point to change the design and alter the summoned terrain.
Note: can only be used once per battle

Leaving a FTG seal on the wall of the fort, Geets and Boit begin to move once more towards the port..

( Fūin Hirashin no Jutsu ) - Seal of The Flying Thunder God technique
Rank: A-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: N/A
Description: This is the technique through which Senju Tobirama and Namikaze Minato apply the sealing formula, that will allow the use of their trademark space time techniques, to any desired object through physical contact and allowing him to teleport to that desired location through the Flying thunder God Technique and the use of its variations. While Minato carries with him multiple kunais marked with the seal (making the core aspect of his fighting style which revolves around the use of FTG Kunais), Tobirama doesn't. To use the Flying Thunder God technique on kunais, Tobirama has to apply the seal to them though through one use of the technique he can mark up to 5 kunais (this is valid only for kunais and other basic weapons, not enemies or other targets of the seal).
Note: Can only be used by Senju Tobirama and Namikaze Minato bios.

Mission Elements:
  • Survive a raid of supernatural creatures
  • Cleanse a landmark from an evil infestation

Alucard and Akemi plundered throughout the Tobusekai only to reach further inlands, this time the roadsign stated the Fist of the First Men.

Sounds ominous..
Can you just imagine a large fist coming out of the ground somewhere..
..No i could not.

Moments later the team looked towards the great towering structure that was touching the sky as they moved along the main road. The landscape was somewhat similar to that of concord dawn, which didn't bode well since those evil woods contained plagues of mythical beasts that were the creation of Molag Bal. Surely this sorcerer had also influenced the lands here too. Not keen on seeking out misfortunes in the woods nearby, Alucard and Akemi continued towards the huge abandoned fortress. Upon arriving, Alucard looked at its creepy walls and upwards. It stood tall, really tall. There were many scars on its exterior, remnants of battles and raids. What made it so weird was that the fortress was in the middle of nowhere. Granted, the main road was just nearby but there was no village close by. The haunting sound of the wind ramming into the fortresses exterior and pivoting through its windows sent a cold sensation through their spines. It was a warning, not to enter there or there would be trouble. But then again, they had little to no choice. Weary from their travels and especially since Alucard had a decent wound to heal from. His arm had started to grow back but only a husk of skin and bones it was by that state, lacking muscles. They could not simply camp out on the road either, fearing for an ambush from more balverines or whatever else there could be out there lurking. Upon entering the huge structure, Alucard and Akemi would climb up rotten wooden stairs, tear through spider webs and remove objects in the way - mostly ancient corpses until they reached the very top of the structure. There they would make camp and Alucard would keep on the lookout for wild animals and bandits while Akemi would take the first nap. At this point, Alucard could feel his regeneration in his arm create the muscle tissues. This part sucked the most and hurt quite a bit. However, his experience of manipulating his bones made him extremely tolerant to pain. He was tired now, really tired. Trying to wake up Akemi by constantly poking him, Alucard finally couldn't last longer and fell asleep himself. The dark sky fell upon the land and whispers could be heard throughout the forest surrounding the fortress. Suddenly, a thing approached from the neck of the woods and onto the road. Its structure was that of a human. It sulked badly and was moving slow. It was dead. But still moving. It crept along the road until it ended up slamming its rotten body into the wall of the fortress, causing Alucard to wake up. The slam woke up something else too. As Alucards vision was still tired, he spotted a large red circular light that protruded through the surrounding woods. As if something on the ground was emitting the light. Alucard could then hear the steps of the walking dead creeping closer to his comfort zone. What a shitty excuse of a night off this was, he thought to himself. The red light had awokened more of the walking dead. Looking down the structure, Alucard spotted the first walker and decided to get rid of that one first while waking up Akemi. Fearing of the strongholds structure, Alucard wanted to reinforce it with his palladium foam release. Using this chakra, Alucard would create a large barricade around the fortress while also repairing a great deal of its weak spots. Rendering it free from its rotten parts, its missing structures here and there and equip it with a razor sharp exterior that would make it impossible to even think about climbing up on.

(Parajiumufōmu: Yōsai | Palladium Foam release: Fortress)
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: D-S(S)
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 10-40(-10 per turn)
Damage: 20-80(on touch)
Description: The jack of all trades release for the parajiumufōmu release. The user can form any structures from the palladium foam they want. The user can create weapons, armour and well anything that they need. D and C ranked usage requires no handseals, B rank requires one, A rank requires two and S rank requires three handseals. D, C and B rank may be used indefinitely as long as the user has a chakra pool, A ranks can be used 4 times per battle and S rank can be used 2 times per battle. A rank variation has a cooldown of one turn per use, S rank has a cooldown of two turns after use. This lets the user channel parajiumufōmu chakra through the earth or anywhere on the field if they have sourceless speciality for the element. The user can also form the foam directly from their body like many other elements. Unless the user fuels chakra into the palladium foam, it will lie dormant on the surface of the earth and have no functionality. Since metal foam is extremely sharp even when compressed it will slice off skin like butter and thus deal damage on direct touch. The user has no immunity towards this and will suffer damage too.

Note: B-ranks require a single handseal, A ranks two handseals and S rank three handseals.
Note: A rank version can be used 4 times per battle, with a cooldown of one turn, S rank 2 with a cooldown of two turns.
Note: No other palladium foam techniques in the same turn S-rank version is used. No Palladium Foam above A-rank next turn either.
Note: The user cannot use this to create a sentient creature, and only be sustained in a matter that allows the foam to maintain a particular shape.

Using the abilities to manipulate the creations he just.. created, the intruding walker was immobilized as it was cut in half, vertically. This made its two halves just splatter across the floor and with the cut side down, its limbs still moving.

This is some really really fucked up shit.

Bracing himself for the some hundred walking dead, Alucard could hear more bad news on the way. The sounds of the all too familliar balverine howls echoed through the thick air. This wasn't just a random encounter, it was a seige. Alucards damaged arm wasnt exactly helping the situation either. Barely being able to make handseals, he still had to rely on his chakra arsenal. through his telepathic abilities with Akemi, Alucard would order his hydra vampiric beast to act as an uncontrolled arc reactor and fire his lightning attacks at will from the top of the fortress while Alucard would take the ground fight himself. He would make a stand and plunged his first sword into the ground. It would release its abyssal amount of hot metal into the ground and root out beneath the battlefield while randomly burst out shockwaves protruding trees of molten bismuth to dispatch and destroy the invaders. It was extremely effective and managed to create a perfectly arced perimiter with trees and bushes made out of the warm metal would block the way of the intruders. However, there were still a large mass of mobs just before the barrier was erected. These had to be disposed of, and Alucard would gather up his chakra to release a royal amount of blazing hot fire with short reach, but extremely wide spread.

(Gōruden'naitomea) - Golden Nightmare
Type: Weapon
Rank: S
Range: N/A
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: The Golden Nightmare is a sword made by parts of reinforced steel and liquid bismuth. This makes the sword able to shift in construction and turn into a hand-cannon due to the liquid parts of the construction. It will either start as a sword or a hand cannon at the beginning of an encounter. Both forms gives the user an enhanced passive trait to the bisumaton release, increasing it's damage by +20 and giving it additionally +10 chakra through a designated seal that is passively activated when it's master is either holding the blade/handcannon or has it sheathed. The seal fluctuates bismuth chakra through its masters body constantly and gives them an extremely faint rainbowy aura(which is just for visual effects).

Sword: The sword form is very beautiful with multitudes of colors and shining edges. The edge of the sword is partially liquid bismuth and partially hardened steel. Due the temperature of liquid bismuth the sword will inflict severe burns on contact with skin and cause great pain. It further enhances the swords cutting capability since it can melt away other elements(within reason, but rubbery and bouncy for example) that are in the way of the sharp steel. If placed on the ground with the hilt upwards and the edge planted in the foundation of the ground infront of the user it will release a large portion of liquid bismuth into the ground that will shape into half of a sphere. Using their ability to control the element, the user can then shape the underground sphere into large roots or trees around the battlefield that deals burning damage on touch. These roots can reach long range while the trees(depending on their length) can only reach mid-range. This causes S-rank damage. The trees can spread and create a miniature forest(about 30 meters big and 10 meters tall), entrapping foes. On touch it causes severe burns. While not dealing 80 damage on freeform, the sword can be used for standard kenjutsu techniques with the burning damage added to it. The user can, however, do freeform 80 damage kenjutsu moves but that will consume a moveslot.

Handcannon: The handcannon form of the Golden Nightmare is like the sword, very beautiful and contains the exact same parts as the sword. This handcannon can fire rounds made out of liquid bismuth. On impact, the bullets will not pierce their target but rather splat on the impact surface and spread across it. This causes severe pain and if shot on a limb it will immobilize it the metal is quite heavy. One single shot can spread all across a regular human-sized creature's torso all the way to their back and thus immobilizes their spine.
Regular gun rules apply and only one round can be shot each time-frame.

Note: A bullet and the sword does 80 damage following the S/W of Bisumaton and up to four bullets per match.
Note: Changing form of the sword costs a move-turn and the user must state in the beginning of a battle what form the Golden Nightmare has taken. If not, it's default as a sword.
Note: Can only be used by Skorm
Note: Utilizing the roots/tree application of the sword renders the user incapable of using the sword's other active abilities in the same and next turn.
Note: Firing a bullet, using the sword for an S-rank attack, or creating the roots render the user unable to use Bismuth Techniques above A-rank in the same turn.

(Katon: Gōka Mekkyaku) - Fire release: Great Fire Majestic Annihilation
Type: Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80
Description: A technique where the user makes the horse hand seal and then kneads chakra inside his body which is then converted into fire and expelled from the mouth as a massive wall of intense flames, which covers an expansive range in both vertical and horizontal dimensions, making it extremely difficult to avoid. However, due to its massive width and height, the technique is not one of the fastest seen so far.

This time, he didn't care about the consequences of using highly noticeable ninjutsu. It already felt like he had the entire world against him. Infact he could use to be noticed. The intense flames erased the walking dead from existence and immediately turned them into ash whereas the balverines were consumed by it too. Half of the fight was over, but at this time it was important to use the fortress's enhanced structure as a defense too. Alucards fatigue would impact him severely and forced him to retreat into the fortress again. Hoping its razor sharp surface could protect them efficently, Alucard would pick up his sword, and use his bisumaton chakra to create a large reinforced door out of the liquid substance that was quite dense and very heavy. This strained his chakra pool but made him black-out, something that Akemi could feel through their link. He instantly rushed to grab his master and dragged him up on the tower and laid him down. Spent with chakra, the beast could not do other things but sit back and hope for the best.

Fucking hell, this was too damn close for me to remain cool about it..

(Bisumaton: Kamigami no umi | Bismuth release: Sea of gods)
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: D-S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 10-40
Damage: 20-80
Description: Sea of gods is a multi-ranked technique that serves as the basic, jack-of-all-trades technique of the bismuth release. It can be created from existing sources(earth) or from the user directly. Depending on how much chakra he/she spends it amps the technique further and thus produces more liquid bismuth. The force of the torrent of the liquid metal will also become greater the more chakra is spent into the technique. But even so, small amounts of liquid bismuth may be enough for some occasions too. Through this technique, the user will be able to shape the land infront of them and create small or large torrents of the liquid bismuth, create a huge "sea" of the molten metal right under their targets or manipulate pre-existing liquid bismuth to form into huge hands or small flying liquid bullets. Even though the possibilities are essentially endless, the bismuth will stay on the field until destroyed and does not require chakra to stay on the field. However, since the release is indeed liquid it cannot maintain any lasting functional structures unless chakra is used to sustain the releases state. Sort of like water which can be formed into a dragon but needs chakra to sustain its form in such case. D, C and B ranks can be used indefinitely while B-ranks will require one handseal; Hare. A rank variation can be used up to 4 times, but will start to require two handseals; Hare - Ox. S-rank variation requires three handseals; Hare - Ox - Rabbit - and can be used up to 3 times per battle.

Note: B-ranks require a single handseal, A ranks two handseals and S rank three handseals.
Note: A rank version can be used 4 times per battle, S rank 3.
Note: No Bismuth Above A-rank after using S-rank version.

The dawn brightened up the lands and would wake Alucard up from his strained comatose. The beasts had retreated into the wild once again but there were still work to be done. Remembering the red light that pierced the sky and woke up an army of balverines, Alucard went on the lookout to find its source while Akemi remained at the fortress as he was completely exhausted from lack of sleep.

If you go on there, you're by yourself. I need a frikkin nap.
Who doesn't at this point..

Alucard wasnt feeling tip-top either but he was too determined to rid the lands from these curses. He would enter the woods and go on the lookout for strange markings and ominous stone formations in the similar direction to where he had spotted the crimson beam. After about an hour he had found it; a large statue of obsidian with the very similar style to what he had seen in Concord of Dawn. This one was, however, infused with some sort of crystal reminding him of rubies. Not keen on letting the statue stand, Alucard performed a few seals, after much struggle, and erased it from existence using his particle style.

(Jinton: Genkai Hakuri no Jutsu) - Detachment of the Primitive World Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: C-S(C)
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15-40
Damage: 30-80
Description: The user first performs a short sequence of handseals: Rat → Boar → Snake, then creates a basic 3D-shaped construct via Dust Release between the palms of their hands. A small sphere is located at its centre. The structure expands rapidly in size when being propelled towards the designated target and traps them inside its confines. The sphere then seems to explode with a tremendous amount of force, while the exterior walls of the structure effectively restrict the size of the blast radius. This results in the destruction of everything and anyone caught within, as they are pulverised into minute particles of dust. The technique isn't limited to just affecting physical matter; it can also affect chakra-based defenses. But the resulting damage that this technique can produce varies considerably, depending on the initial shape of the created structure..

Cuboid Structure: A form manipulating the Dust Release structure into a very generic three-dimensional cube. While the cube's surface area is rank-dependent, its shape also enables localized destruction and entrapment. Unlike the other shape alternatives, this form is always limited to just short-range when used.

Conical Structure
: A form manipulating the Dust Release structure into a simplistic three-dimensional cone. While the cone's base diameter is rank-dependent, its base is always located in front of the user's hands with the pointed end poised at the desired target. It has an intermediary reach, extending up to mid-range.

Cylindrical Structure: A form manipulating the Dust Release structure into a basic three-dimensional cylinder. While the cylinder's diameter is rank-dependent, it is unique amongst shapes in extending up to long-range.

Note: The surface area of the cube form is 1m² at C-rank, 3m² at B-rank, 5m² at A-rank, 15m² at S-rank.
Note: The diameter of the cone and the cylinder is 1m at C-rank, 2m at B-rank, 4m at A-rank, 8m at S-rank.
Note: Only useable by Mū and Ōnoki bios. Clones are unable to use it.

The disintegration of the statue left a mark to Alucard, for as soon as he saw its very atoms crumble infront of him, it infused him with a vision, a sort of genjutsu almost. It gave him a glimpse of the ancient rituals and a figure that was ghostly close to that of the statue which he had just destroyed. He saw the very being who was responsible for all these curses. Not being able to fully recollect his senses, Alucard looked up towards the ground. Underneath the foundation of the statue there seemed to be another symbol carved into the ground. What seemed to be an arrow pointing towards a random direction started to glow slightly in red. Alucard decided to wander off into the direction the arrow pointed and about an hour of walking later he found yet another statue identical to the one he had just destroyed. He continued the cycle 8 more times to when he had destroyed a total of 10 statues across the land. The last statue revealed a rather unsettling text instead of an arrow. It said; "The fool who dares oppose the powers of the daedric prince of Strife, will not find peace in this life nor their 10,000 afterwards."
It would seem like Alucard was pissing on this Molag Bal's property. He loved the progress he made and proceeded with a tired smile on his face onwards through the Tobusekai. He had cleansed this land with its statues of the evil aura that had manifested its presence through its border country too but it was most likely more to come. Alucard had to rest though and stayed at the fortress for another day until his arm had finally fully recovered. He and Akemi then continued onwards on the main road, looking back at the aftermath of their encounter against the forces of darkness. They aimed to continue their journey towards where the rumours pointed for statues and other bewitched creatures stalking the night. They were getting closer to their goal and would maybe finally face the dark sorcerer and put a stop to his plans once and for all.
