First grade boy suspended for ‘sexual harassment’

I guess kissing and slapping girls during primary school must be more common that i was led to believe.

It actually started around the time I was in elementary so maybe like 15 years ago.

It started because these girls got gang raped at this high school in Boulder. After that every school district in the state has a zero tolerance against any type of sexual aggressive behavior. Which is understandable.

I don't get but how kissing a girl on the hand can be a sexual aggressive behaviour.Zzz

My young cousin got suspended for pinching a girl's butt. He's only 7 years old. This reminds me of those articles about kids being suspended for gun shaped food and toys. ****ing ridiculous.

Well the teacher was probably a little annoyed that he randomly kissed her during the reading session when he should be paying attention, also the teachers says that the girls reaction was out of disgust and that she didn't like it which I'm starting to believe is true because the girl never speaks up against this. Only the parents with a sketchy story.

Of course it can be flawed too though. Like I know someone who was suspended for hugging his girlfriend and grabbing her butt only because the hall monitor told them repeatedly no PDA in the halls when I was in high school. It's just a silly thing that happens every once in a while in schools. Not breaking news like how it's being portrayed.

Like I said it's just a media diversion to distract from the shooting, that's why it's such "breaking news". This type of cover up story happened when that dude shot up a bunch of people at the batman movie as well.

Teacher could have just warned him or told his parents or told him not to do it, there are other ways.

Yeah when I was that age. xD Mines was a little worse than his though, I slapped her on the butt.

In my defense a bunch of us were playing ass tag during recess so I wasn't the only one who got suspended.

People are so shell shocked from the crimes of todays world that they start looking to stump them at a young age.

In elementary and middle school, at least the ones I went to, PDA was prohibited. I guess it's a good thing to teach a kid, but reacting in such an extreme way is unacceptable.

"Sexual Harassment," is thrown around so heavily nowadays. You don't have to punish someone while ruining their childhood. It's like they think he's a future rapist based off of this, which just isn't fair.

That's what happens when people are afraid. Though I do wonder what exactly was going through the person's mind who typed 'Sexual harassment,' on the referral shown in the OP.
