Alright, we are not quite done with this jutsu. First off, this a wide range jutsu, and because fire is really wild, it can easily catch and burn a lot of trees due to this AoE move. Furthermore, it is also a really loud jutsu. How might you think sound comes into play during your battles?

Then, build fire chakra in your chest, applying pressure to it, and then release it through the tunnel, causing it to turn into lava as it mingles with the earth.
Then, form a handseal, causing the entire flow to explode.
Explain how you would utilize this in a battle.

*I stomp my leg on the ground, creating a tunnel underground that is created towards you, then I try to focus and build up fire chakra in my chest as I do that, I apply pressure and release fire through the tunnel, that mingles with the earth turning to lava in the earth, then as I perform a single seal causing it to explode*

this is a very useful jutsu, however if I were to use it, I'd first create a diversion, using probably a more powerful jutsu to distract the opponent, while I perform this, and an explosive lava is more dangerous than it sounds, since its semi liquid, it can splatter when it explodes, making the lava difficult to evade.

Very good. And now, there is one more concept I'd like to go over with you called "zoning". It basically forces your opponent to stay in a certain part of the arena, so that you can manipulate him ways you want to.
Moves that do this include controlling the skies (Lightning Fang) and the grounds, which is the one I just told you. Being able to get your opponent to do what you want them to do allows you to control the pace of the battle.

Description: The user first stomps on the ground, making an underground tunnel form between themselves and the opponent. They then breathe out fire into the tunnel, causing the fire to turn into lava as it travels. With a single hand seal, the lava will erupt from the ground underneath the opponent, engulfing them in lava.

Now, proceed to form fire chakra in your chest and then spit it out in a stream of fire, not unlike the first one. Then, ignite it with wind, causing it to flare up.

I'd probably use it as a surprise attack, using other jutsu/weapon to conceal the jutsu from being noticed earlier, give the enemy little time to react. Also I've learnt pressure damage, if that's the tech. you were asking forxD

No, it is not, I am going down the list. And actually, this jutsu is very flashy, and would serve better as a defensive wall or to control the effects around the battlefield.
