Hey, a few questions about firefox add ons.

What language do I have to write it in? Would C/C++ be fine?

Is there any kind of compliance standard I should go by?

Is there any kind of validator?

Too lazy to google as I'm in the middle of writing a new add on for better javascript limiting controls.

Have you written any add-ons for Firefox yet? I'm guessing XUL is probably based on XML? Which if it is, laaaaaaame.

Edit: The main reason I'm writing this add-on is to make browsing "ahem" TGP galleries easier. (If you don't know what TGP galleries are, then be gone)! Getting tired of fake TGP's, link redirects, page redirects etc. Thus I'll be focusing mostly on the most annoying thing ever, redirects.
