That took a while. Anyway, I'm good with whenever you reply. It's your training thread after all.

( Katon: Kimuchi Amura ) - Fire Release: Wall of Flames
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary/Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user first throws out a lighter that has an open flame. The user the turns the flame into a wall of fire used for protection or to burn small objects thrown towards him. This jutsu can be used with Hurricane Fist to create a combo jutsu.

Don't confuse this with a real lighter, lol. You exhale a fire technique and later on, by molding your chakra, turn it into a wall of fire. Or actually, I'm not even sure, if it's a lighter anymore. I mean, who's walking around the ninja world with a lighter in their pocket, well, except Asuma, lol.

( Katon: Hibashiri ) - Fire Release: Running Fire
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal by utilizing their fire chakra, the user will create a stream of fire that can be manipulated into several forms (rings of fire that runs on the ground or a circle of fire flying through the air) before striking the target. It can also be used in combination with a suitable wind technique to release a massive inferno.

Tiger handseal. It represents the fire nature. A versatile fire attack. You can alter it's shape, depending on your needs. And to top that, it's even mid range.
I focus my fire chakra, focusing on super-heating it inside of my lungs. Once done, I release a gout of flame from my mouth, and then apply shape manipulation to it. Using that, I shape the unfocused fire into a defensive wall of flames.

I focus my fire chakra, focusing on supe-heating it inside of my lungs. Once done, I perform the Tiger hand seal. I then release the chakra from my mouth, into a powerful stream of fire that races along the ground. I manipulate the fire to form several rings onto the ground, able to trap anything inside of them.

( Katon: Ryūka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user will perform four handseals Snake → Dragon → Rabbit → Tiger , and breathe fire along a cord or any other type of long object, which rushes forward in straight line catching the enemy on fire. A line of enemies can be used as the conductor as well. The flames are meant to target, and assault the enemy's upper body just like a projectile weapon.

Ok, I had a change in my training and after we finish C rank we'll switch to that method. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I'm trying to make the life easier for both of us. Now, the biggest problem of this jutsu is that you have to prepare the battlefield before you can use it. To do so you need to throw some kunai with cords attached to them. In other words, you need a medium other than air. After you're set up, you perform the handseals and exhale the fire along the cords. Pretty simple.

( Katon: Karyūdan ) - Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user exhales a flame breath from their mouth after making one handseal. This technique can be used in conjunction with Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet to ignite the projectiles fired by the latter technique, making it more devastating.

It's the most simple stream of fire and as the technique says you use it in conjunction with the earth technique to make a deadlier combo. If you learned the earth technique you can perform it, if not simply perform the fire technique then.

Fine with me!

I remove a few kunai from my pouch, with ninja wire attached through the loops on the handles. I sling them at two trees in a way where they wrap around the trunk. I then focus my fire chakra, and perform the Snake → Dragon → Rabbit → Tiger hand seals. I release a flame along the ninja wire, and begin to burn the tree when the fire races down the wire.

I focus my chakra, concentrating on superheating within my lungs. Afterwords, I perform a single hand seal, and then release the gathered chakra. I exhale a breath of flame the same tree, further destroying the trunk of it.

( Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user first performs six hand seals Rat → Tiger → Dog → Ox → Rabbit → Tiger and they create a volley of small fireballs, which are sent flying in an unpredictable manner assaulting the enemy. In addition, the flames are controlled one by one with chakra, so avoiding them all is extremely difficult. Shuriken can also be concealed within the flames, creating an unexpected secondary surprise attack. Like the flames, the shuriken can be controlled with chakra. For the most part, however, this technique is used as a distraction.

Pretty self explanatory. There are ways to use this technique and it's very useful. If it had a higher rank and range I'd call it OP.

( Katon: Honoo no Saigai Hi Kagayaku no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Flame of Disaster Fire Shine Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user releases a flame of fire chakra that converges on the opponent wrapping around them and burning them.

I'd say this is a game jutsu because I can't find anything on narutopedia. I don't know anything about it, other than what it says in description. By the rank I'd say that it's a moderate size flame that goes up to mid range and wraps around your opponent. Your thoughts?

I first begin by focusing my chakra, and then performing the following hand seals, Rat → Tiger → Dog → Ox → Rabbit → Tiger. I release a volley of small fireballs from my mouth, while I toss shuriken into each individual blast of fire. I then them in all directions at your clone, even arcing from the sides and above.

I agree with your thoughts.

I focus my chakra into my lungs, concentrating on super heating the chakra within. Once done, I open my mouth, and release the chakra forward continuously, in the form of a stream of fire. The fire then wraps around your clones body like a fiery blanket, burning his skin.

Good. Sorry for the delay, holidays over here. Taking it slowly. Alright, B rank now. From now on we'll do the training a bit differently. We covered D and C ranks as they are the basics and the latter are mostly advanced versions of those so you won't really need to perform them but rather understand them. That I believe you can by simply reading their description because that's why it is there. On the other hand, I want you to ask any questions you might have regarding those jutsus. 1 questions for each jutsu, at least. I'll try my best to explain everything.

( Katon: Karyū Endan ) - Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user first performs seven handseals Ram → Horse → Snake → Dragon → Rat → Ox → Tiger and kneads chakra into flames, which are then manipulated into a genuine-looking dragon. The flames are divided to launch a left side, right side, and frontal assault in all three directions at once, turning the enemy into ash in a matter of seconds.

Excellent technique because it allows you to attack your opponent from all three directions. It's not easy defending attacks like that. A wall of water or something like that would probably work against it.

( Bakuhatsu Enhogan ) – Exploding Flame Shots
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user shoots multiple fire shots from their hands that are able to cause fiery explosions on impact with any object. The shots can't set the opponent on fire, though they can cause damage by exploding on him.

Channel chakra into your hands and release it with a swing of your arm. They're quite small and don't really do much damage, other than exploding. Would be good to hit his ear with this, in order to damage his equilibrium and to throw him of balance.

( Katon: Hiendan ) – Fire Release: Soaring Flame Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense, Deffence
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user exhales a stronger yet shorter version of the Fire Release: Great Fireball technique.

Stronger and shorter version, meaning more chakra and more power.

( Katon: Karyū Endan ) - Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet

  • Could you use this on yourself and reverse the direction, so it would defend yourself against techniques coming not from the front?
( Bakuhatsu Enhogan ) – Exploding Flame Shots
  • Could these ignite an explosive tag even though they aren't actual "fire"?
( Katon: Hiendan ) – Fire Release: Soaring Flame Bullet
  • This would follow the hand seals and execution of the normal Fireball Technique?

1) Nope. The technique is offensive and it's clearly visible in its "Type". This is how it looks like.

You must be registered for see images

2) To explosive tags are basically paper so yeah I think they could ignite it. Also, the explosive tags are ignited by chakra, so it's a definite yes.

3) Yep, exactly the same technique with more chakra and bigger in size.

All clear then. :)
( Katon: Gōenkyū ) - Fire Release: Great Blaze Ball
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user after performing two hand seals Horse → Tiger exhales a meteor-sized sphere of fire that carries the enemy away and causes a massive explosion on impact.

First really good blast technique. With a span up to long range it can deal some serious damage if it explodes. It's pretty self explanatory if you ask me.

( Katon: Gōenka ) - Fire Release: Great Flame Flower
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user jumps in the air and shoots three giant bullets of fire that come down like giant meteors, then erupt into a geyser of flame.

The higher you are the better the effect, I'd say, lol.

( Katon: Haisekishō ) - Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user spews superheated ash from their mouth after performing four handseals. The ash is hot enough to cause third-degree burns on the victim. Because it's composed entirely of ash, it stays in the air around the victim like a cloud. If the user clicks his teeth, the stagnant ash will ignite, creating a violent explosion.

I'd say that this is an advanced version of the D rank technique. Same advantages and disadvantages apply.

-Can this be used to set the terrain on fire, since a big explosion happens? Say if you aimed it halfway between you and your opponent.

( Katon: Gōenka ) - Fire Release: Great Flame Flower
- Do I have to actually jump up to use this?

( Katon: Haisekishō ) - Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning
- Since it isn't actual fire, what rank of wind would the opponent need to blow the ash back at me? Still A-rank?

1) Well, I guess you could but you'd need a lot of dry grass to burn the battlefield because otherwise it would be hard to imagine to see green grass burning. Though, if you aim it halfway, you might get caught in the explosion too.

2) Yeah, you do. But trust me this is an awesome thing. You know that we can't simply jump to avoid techniques, kunais and simple stuff. Well, this gives you the chance to do so. And not only that, you can evade a technique with this and you attack the opponent simultaneously. Great stuff.

3) Hmm, interesting question. Really good question. I believe that size would play a bigger role this time. However, I wouldn't go below B rank with the wind anyway.

( Katon: Gōryūka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offense/Supplementary
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user fires several large dragon-shaped fireballs at their opponent after performing one handseal. It is able to alter localized weather conditions to the point of making thunder clouds when shot into the air, enabling the user to perform Kirin.

Kirin. Everyone is going for Kirin when using this technique. To perform Kirin you have to use this technique first and then in the next turn create a Chidori first and then use it to draw lightning from the clouds. A lot people forget one of those two and go for the big thing.

( Katon: Hōsenka Tsumabeni ) - Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user unleashes a volley of shuriken with one hand, while at the same time exhaling fire-infused chakra onto them in order to increase the weapons' destructive potential by making them capable of inflicting severe burns upon direct contact with either the intended victim or any other object caught within their trajectories. Due to the chakra-based nature of the flames that surround them, the shuriken will continue to burn after impact, regardless of the flammability of the object that they ultimately collide with.

Deja-vu, right? Infuse your shuriken with fire and throw them. The good thing is that they'll continue to burn even if the object they hit is not flammable.

( Katon: Onidōrō ) - Fire Release: Demon Lantern
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user will manipulate their chakra releasing several fire ghosts that are like heads with horns and yellow eyes that then attack the target/s in a swarm.

Simple. While releasing the technique mold your chakra in order to make them resemble the creatures in the image. Then you can control the ghosts to swarm around the opponent.

1. Can I just fire one fireball into the sky to heat it, and then another one at the opponent? Or must I use the full strength of the technique for Kirin. Just a thought, how long do you have to wait for the thunderclouds to form?

2. How long will they be infused for? Would it last 1 turn, 2 turns?

3. They look transparent, so would I be able to see through them if I sent them forward at my opponent?

1) I believe that you can separate the technique but it would obviously take more time to form the clouds if you don't use the full strength. You need 1 turn to make the thunderclouds, meaning that in your next turn you can perform kirin. You have to be careful with your timing and with the technique in general. Sometimes your opponent will be able to draw kirin himself, onto you.

2) Erm, well, I believe they don't have a specific time, but once you throw them and they miss the target you wouldn't really have any use of them anyway.

3) Yes you would. :)

Sometimes your opponent will be able to draw kirin himself, onto you.

2) Erm, well, I believe they don't have a specific time, but once you throw them and they miss the target you wouldn't really have any use of them anyway.

3) Yes you would. :)
No more questions then.

( Katon: Honoo no Hashira Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Flame Pillar Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra into their chest and then they will release from their mouth a quick burst of flame towards their opponents feet which then errupts into a large pillar of flame reaching 3 meters tall and inflicting damage to the target.

It's a simple stream of fire that will erupt into a huge pillar as it hits your opponents feet. It's very simple and self explanatory.

( Katon: Kaen Senpū ) - Fire Release: Flame Whirlwind
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After performing the required four handseals Monkey → Bird → Dog → Ram, fire erupts around the user's body and then launches towards the target in a spiraling-manner. The target is then incinerated as the flames erupt upwards.

After you perform the handseals you expel your chakra from your body and using shape manipulation make it spiraling, creating a flame whirlwind. Then you direct it towards your opponent which will then incinerate him in the flames.

( Katon: Benijigumo ) - Fire Release: Crimson Earth Spider
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After performing five handseals Tiger → Horse → Rat → Dog → Tiger , the user spews out fire that both surrounds the enemy and then transforms into a spider that attacks the enemy. This technique effectively traps and attacks an opponent at the same time, and can be used to force them into another attack.

After you perform the handseals you spew out your chakra and create a wall of fire around your opponent and then you transform the wall into a spider that will attack him, while he's trapped and surrounded by the fire.

1. So basically its only a forward shot of fire which can be defended very easily?

2. "fire erupts around the user's body", does this mean it begins as a 360 degree defense around, then goes forward?

3. Could you release the fire onto the ground in front of you and have it travel to both of his sides to surround him? It seems that if you spew it at him, he will just douse it immediately.

1) Yes.

2) Yeah, pretty much. Something like Naruto's nine-tails mode. It erupts from your body and then you send it towards your opponent.

3) It actually does that. It circles around him from the sides and then forms a spider in front of him while he's circled.
