xd sorry ill give a better explanation, fire is an element that uchihas speacialize in. fire style jutsu is better used at short to mid range, however there are many fire style jutsu that are longer range because they are much larger and burn hotter. fire style is quite destructive in it of itself because it burns and razes things.

Fire is almost essential to life itself. If we didnt have the sun we would surely die without its heat. In the narutoverse fire techniques were specialized by the Uchiha clan but can be utilized with hiding objects and altering weather conditions. Fire is weak to water because the water puts out the flames and strong against wind merely because it fuels the flames.
