What exactly are you doing? I never asked you to use that first jutsu, you do all this in attempt to learn the second jutsu you've posted. Try again following my instructions.

In order to manipulate the Fire, I have to create a stream of fire first to perform the dragon-shaped fireballs to launch at or punch through your the wall of wood. I could be mistaken or wrong in the development of the technique, but in order to perfom a new Jutsu, I have to learn from the previous techniques that I required. I do understand that it's only neccessary sometimes, but not all the time. If its not the case then, I use wikia to have a better understanding if it's OK with you:

While in the air and still concentrating my chakra, I immediately exhale it all at once creating three giant flame bullets that came down like giant meteors and erupt into a geyser of flames.

You can do better, the fire ball was a little too small, concentrate allot of fire chakra trough your whole body, and in the end send them all at once to your lungs being able to manipulate your chakra there and exhale three huge giant bullets of fire that come down like giant meteors then erupt into a geyser of flame. Try it again, but before doing so you will have to breath in and out and jump afterwards.
