"Fire is one of the basic five elements and is extremely hot, melting, burning or heating all things it comes into contact with. Fire is also aggressive by nature and holds very little properties that aren't based on destruction or damage making fire Ninjutsu often offensive. Fire Jutsu are created by using nature manipulation on the users Chakra to give it properties of fire itself. When combined with hand seals the user can create fire from their Chakra. Most Fire Ninjutsu come from the lungs and out of the mouth as Fire is fueled by the oxygen in breathing and the air around us."

"Fire can be used in two main ways when combined with other elements. The first is when combined with other Jutsu. The most commonly known usage of this style of elemental fusion is the combination of Wind and Fire. Wind can be used to empower fire technique forcing it to burn stronger and move faster. The other fusion of elemental Chakra is Kekkei Genkais. Some people are born with special abilities which infuse Katon Chakra with other elements to come up with new independent elements. An example of this is Lava release which is a mixture of Katon and Doton."
