Cmon y'all rly think Itachi can go around pointing at ppl to place them under genjutsu?

People have taken the authors ability to tell a story with subtle metaphors and used them as definitive feats to fap their fav more.

Itachi placing Naruto under genjutsu first of all, is a technique that more than likely would only work on someone as amateurish as Naruto at that time.

Secondly, it wasn't his finger that put him in a genjutsu, it was his eyes. If you pay attention, Itachi more than likely placed Naruto under a genjutsu much earlier than when he pointed at him.

The pointing of the finger was just a dramatic ploy on Itachis part (or kishimotos) to sell how advance Itachis skill is.

But his finger doesn't technically put u in a genjutsu. There's a reason why we only seen it happen once to a novice Naruto

Not only isn't it a solo but it doesn't exist. A VISUAL genjutsu cannot be transmitted through the pointing of a finger

He activated the jutsu a while ago, then pointed his finger way afterward. It's not like Naruto had his eyes closed the moment they saw Itachi

Itachi's intention was to protect Konoha. Killing their best taijutsu user wouldn't have been a wise choice.

You posed a question. How is that a stating anything? He didn't spare Gai, he ran from him. He even stated he wanted to leave before more reinforcements arrived. There's nothing dishonorable about running when you're outnumbered. Gai just happened to be the person he ran from
