What's the point of such hypotheticals though? Sure you like Tobirama, he was probably pretty bad ass. But we don't really know enough to say anything about his abilities as a shinobi.
I just get so frustrated when people argue forever about their favourite character, even when there isn't any actual evidence, just because someone may have dented their reputation a little with a slight comment.
Every character has weak points and strong points. We shouldn't be offended by this. People should recognise this and not get so offended if someone says one character could beat them in some circumstance. It gets even worse when people defend characters that no one has seen perform anything in the manga.
And I know this was just a small comment on your part, but I saw your sig and I was reminded of others, sorry...

Kabuto could have been lying/bluffing to keep Tobi in check. I think this chapter just cemented a lot of what people had believed previously

As for Hashirama, I personally believe Nagato at full health would beat him, BUT the mere fact that Kishi has repeatedly had characters glorifying him and now in this chapter it just seems that the final word has been said on the matter.
Kishi wants everyone to know who he believes is the strongest and his word is final

The sheer knowledge to create such a jutsu is a feat in of itself. I know we dont know alot about Tobirama, but I do know that he was a brilliant Hokage. He did a lot for the village before he died. Im not saying he was the strongest, but to say that he couldnt do it compared he wouldnt is just wrong. Ok maybe he might not have perfected it, but if he kept testing edo he would have had one of the most powerful jutus at the time. He saw the extreme perversion in the jutsu so he decided to stop and name it forbidden. That was the reason why he never got it to kabutos level. It was not because he couldnt, its because he wouldnt.

madara would have been killed twicealready if he wasnt edo... Madara is using both his powers and hashirma's and the rinnengan powers. So why do you make the conclusion that just because this current madara who would have been dead already way before this point in the fight. Is anywhere near the lvl of hashirama. Obviously edo madara is more powerful in every way.
