What almost everyboy forget is that Minato can teleport to everywhere he has put his seals jutsu.

So, if Itachi gets touched only once(what will happen coz Minato is much faster than him), Minato can teleport to him when he want and kill him.

What's also funny is that Minato can also teleport attacks from opponent everywhere he has put his seals with his barrier(what he used against the TBB from Kyubi). It would be very funny if Itachi get killed by his own jutsu(totsuka for example).

We don't even know what Izanami can do. So i think we must wait for the next chapter. Anyway i don't think he can do that. If he could, he would not be dead now(he could have imagine he's not sick, imagine he has the MSE, imagine he kill Tobi, he would even know who Tobi is really), which is not the case.
