[Discussion] Finally caught up with HxH!

Wow, I finally caught up with the anime and the series is godlike! I'm really impressed with how events are taken place with the chimera ant arc. The character development that both Gon & Killua received is amazing. Even in an arc where both of them weren't the main focus (YorkNew City arc) it was still an amazing arc.

These are my favorite (whether it's funny/badass/sad) moments/fights in the series. I may have left a few key moments out since this is just off the top of my head. It's in no particular order and the events aren't in chronological order either. I'll keep this super short. :

-Killua's godspeed mode
-Dodge-ball match with Razor.
-Gon meeting Razor and Razor telling Gon that his dad told him not to go easy on him.
-Killua removing the needle that Illumi planted on him plus the amount of character development that he received was amazing.
-The phantom troupe (HOLY SH*T), lmao these n*ggas were playing cards while Uvogin was fking sh*t up. The head (Chrollo) was such a boss when...

Even the other members were badass like Feitan's rising sun on zazan. Beautiful.

I also lol'd when Hisoka made that face when he found that Chrollo is unable to use nen.

-Gon finally punching Hisoka and giving back his tag number.
-Kurapika killing Uvogin. I just like how his nen ability is specifically only for the spiders.
-Hisoka's orgasms are hilarious.
-Kite is such a badass. I was kind of annoyed that he died pretty early in the arc but it's not really a bad thing story wise, it's just me being a fan of Kite His nen ability is pretty funny and I love that gag where he always mentions "Dam, bad spin." The number 2 spin (scythe) is OP as hell but too bad it's not enough for even Pitou. Dam I hate Pitou!
-Pitou is so f*cking annoying. Man the feels over Kite's death is real!
-I loved seeing Killua threatening Sadaso. Man, dat animation was beast.
-Netero vs Meruem... do I really have to comment on this? Honestly togashi man you're one hell of a mangaka man. Amazing fight.
-Netero making Meruem scared.
-Silva killing Cheetu was funny.
-Seeing Yorknew city in complete chaos was amazing. I guess kishi tried to do the same thing when Oro. tried to have Konaha in "chaos"
-Gon's JuJanKen is strong and I love it! As Knuckle said it has it's weakness. Although I heard he gets an OP powerup in the manga.
-Gon scaring Morel with his rage was badass
-Zeno and netero invading/attack the palace was epic as hell.
-Zeno/Silva vs Chrollo
-Knov's mental breakdown just awesome to see cause it shows how strong the royal guards are and even the king.
-Is it just me or does Kite and Shanks from OP share the same voice actor? I know Akainu and youpi share the same voice actors.

tl;dr? HxH is amazing, go watch the 2011 version and then read the manga! I'd give this series a 9.4/10 making it my second favorite series. MadHouse did a spectacular job on this, props to them. I heard they left something out with a flashback with Kite (2011 version) but that's probably the only flaw in the anime, otherwise it's really good.



I also got some questions for you HxH fans...

1.) Do you think Razor would of been able to defeat the phantom troupe members that met him at green island? I mean Razor did say he was nervous and Phinks said he was strong. However I don't see anyone escaping the rising sun . Personally, I think Razor can take on a few of them but not all.
2.) Do you think Ging can take on Meruem? Since Ging is one of the top hunters. If it's implied/stated in the manga please don't bother replying since I'm not caught up with the manga.
3.) Who's your favorite phantom troupe member? I'd said Feitan is my favorite male member and Shizuku is my favorite female member.

@(1) definately, I think Razor can at least take on any single member by himself. Look at what he did to Hisoka.

@(2) we need to see if Ging is anywhere near prime Netero.

Man, thats a long wall of text, I skimmed through and eventually read the questions.

1- By battle or volleyball ? Im not too sure, either ways, this guy was a man that Ging trusted which makes me consider that he is very strong. At volleyball though, If he were to play against the entirety of the Troupe with his team of Nen clones or whatever, I think he wont win, it is really difficult with the Troupe's diverse abilities that can be used for such a sport.

2- I think it was stated that Ging was the top hunter(anime), not too sure. Anyways, Ging was shown taming huge-ass beasts, so maybe by using such abilities to help him fight Meruem plus the fact that he is probably the strongest mother****er out there, I think he has a big chance at defeating him

3-Chrollo is my fav, the guy is simply amazing. Second would be Nobunaga, though we havent seen much, I like his character. Feitan goes third.

I'm only at episode 100 but I'll try to answer the questions.

1) I think Razor would lose, because as someone mentioned before the PT have too many "strong" individuals.

2) I have never seen Ging fight. So I'd go with Extreme high diff Meruem. Or ehd Ging due to plot. (no hate, I like him so far)

3) Chrollo, Hisoka (if he counts)

We haven't seen much, but that Nen ball-bomb thing he shown when expelling the Troupe looks badass and really dangerous, he threw something this powerful with ease which makes me think he has a lot more. I cant judge for sure because we havent seen his full power, but he is very strong and imo might be able to stand on equal grounds with Feitan.

Are you serious?
I think it was mentioned that Ging was one of the top Nen users in the world, that feat alone is a considerable assumption. Meruem wont get killed by Ging though, with all those power ups he got after the fight with Lord Netero he is now pretty much invincible.

It definitely beats Naruto. Like I said before I'd give HxH a rating of 9.4/10 and it will eventually go up once Togashi is back. If you're wondering OP gets a 9.7 or 9.8. HxH, Fen Sheng Ji, Op and Toriko are the only good series out in manga format at the moment IMO.

I do watch HXH lol Ive been a fan of the series for years. I just wanted the opinion of another fellow HXH Fan =D
I also agree its one of the best series out there, the character development is amazing and the story is to die for.
