I'm ngl, these don't have a lot of use in battle, but we'll go over them nonetheless, maybe you can be inspired, lol. We'll go over two this time since I've kept you waiting.

( Kinjutsu: Kishō Tensei ) - Forbidden Technique: One's Own Life Reincarnation

Description: The user, giving their life force to the target, uses all their chakra as an intermediary. This technique can be used on both the living and dead, but when used on the dead, the user will find certain death in exchange for the soul of the deceased. While in use, the released chakra shines a pale-blue colour, and if the user's own chakra is insufficient, a third party can assist. The technique can restore a dead bio to life in exchange for ones own life but it can also be used to heal or restore chakra levels. Despite being able to restore life or healing serious injuries, the technique is not actually medical jutsu but the transfer of one's own life force.

( Kinjutsu: Shikon no Jutsu ) - Forbidden Technique: Dead Soul Technique

Description:
Using this technique, a person can temporarily reanimate a corpse, creating the illusion of a living person, and maneuver it at will with chakra. This is achieved by causing the heart to beat once more. The reanimated corpse can serve as either a short-time ally or an effective decoy. The said corpse can also use techniques basic techniques like Taijutsu or low rank elemental techniques (B-Rank). The traces of surgery can also be erased with chakra, because of which there's no difference, at first glance, with a live person. Kabuto, for example, added plastic surgery to this, altering the corpse's face, and goes even further by erasing its bodily odour, so that the smell doesn't give him away, thus creating an effective body double for himself. This advanced technique, however, takes time to perform and the result is also temporary, lasting only 6 turns. While the bodies cannot be stored and the usage in most battles is virtually null, in war scenarios and espionage missions, it can be an amazingly useful technique.

The second one is much simpler and easy to grasp. As said, it should be incredibly interesting in world missions and rp stories.

The first one I have questions. It claims to spend 150 chakra and the user either takes 80 damage ( in case of transferring life force to the living ) or certain death ( in case of transferring life to the dead ). My questions are:

1. Does it grant 80 health points to the target, or does it grant a full heal? Since we are talking about life force transfering and not healing medical techniques, would it be ok to assume that you spend 150 chakra, take 80 damage and it grants you the ability to heal someone fully, despite the damage someone took?

2. How does this apply to the RP, where no one actually dies but instead they get knocked out? Does it always bring someone to full health without causing the user to die?

3. Can the 80 damage that the user takes be healed by a medical technique? Does it have any restriction to healing this sort of damage, like it can only be healed by Yang? Or is it something that lowers you max HP down by 80 damage, meaning if you have 200 HP max, and use this technique, you can only heal up to a max of 120 HP for the remainder of the arc?

It wouldn't make much sense to transfer 80 HP and restore someone to 160 or 200 HP; it would be an equal exchange deal imo. Of course, I could be wrong, but that's just my interpretation of the jutsu.

2) Again, I'd apply the same logic. So you could transfer 80 of your health points to someone and then fully heal them with certain jutsu.

3) There's no mention of being restricted in terms of healing yourself back to full health so I'd say you're allowed to do so.

Keep in mind these jutsu are old af, so the wording is a bit weird. Like it says you use all your chakra as well as some health, but really, it only uses 150 chakra. Any more questions before we move on?

Description: This is a high level medical ninjutsu. This technique allows the user to overflow his body with healing chakra to slowly restore him to a healthy state if he is injured. The use of this technique allows the user to also perform techniques, that are normally body taxing, without much physical drawbacks. This technique can also be used to physically enhance the person to higher levels of speed and strength. It also alters the person's physical appearance drastically, making them younger and more fit in looks. This technique is based on the muscles' ability to grow stronger after repairing itself from damage. Understanding this theory, the Body Revival Technique can increase the strength of the user by manipulating the "Destruction and Rebirth" cycle of the muscles.

Note: Upon ending, the user suffers 90 damage and ages rapidly, their reactions and speed are reduced to half for the remainder of the battle and a -15 penalty to taijutsu

Okay so this is definately a last ditch effort, since it can heal you for 150 damage across 3 turns, but will then severely hinder you in your 4th turn. While it is still a net positive boost in health, the penalties of half speed and -15 to taijutsu are a bit tricky to handle. Well, at least the speed part, since one can simply avoid using tai.

Yeah, its a bit trash if we're being honest, lol. But it was on the list so I figured we'll go over it. Now we can finally move onto Edo Tensei. There's quite a bit to cover, as you know, so I'll post the jutsu and we'll go over it bit by bit since I know you have questions. I'll post the Talisman techniques when we get to that part.

( Kuchiyose Kinjutsu: Edo Tensei ) – Forbidden Summoning Technique: Impure World Reincarnation
Rank: Forbidden
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short

Description: A technique developed by Tobirama Senju used to revive the dead. To perform this technique the user must first acquire DNA of the person they intend to revive, be it hair, blood samples, or limbs. The soul of the revived target must also reside within Irkalla or the Pure World, not those who have been consumed by the Death God or previously sealed by means that would otherwise make it impossible to be resurrected, like their soul being destroyed. Next, a living sacrifice is required for the soul of the resurrected to use as a vessel. Once all prerequisites for the technique have been met, the acquired DNA of the person is smeared on a special scroll and activated. This forms a special seal with the living sacrifice n the center. Then dust and ash encase the sacrifice’s body, giving them the same appearance that the revived target had at the time of their death. The person is then revived and the end product is usually stored in a casket until summoned by the user performing the Tiger → Snake → Dog → Dragon → Clap hand seal combination. When the user summons the revived soul, a casket first appears before revealing the revived target. The Edo Tensei Summoning can be countered by sealing away the targets soul or by having the summoner cancel the technique. As they are unlikely to do this voluntarily, using a genjutsu to trick them into cancelling the technique is ideal. The sequence of hand seals for cancelling the technique is Rat → Ox → Monkey → Tiger → Dragon → Boar and saying Kai. If the summoner dies before the technique is deactivated, then this method is impossible. The summoned soul is able to resist control through a Breakout Chance, see Edo Tensei rules for specifics regarding this per turn event. In the event of Breakout a summoner can seal their Edo Tensei, unless Breakout occurs through the use of the Snake → Ram → Boar → Dog → Tiger seals. The summoned soul is then left as an immortal revived soul, autonomous and without any link to the summoner. Edo Tensei are typically summoned with a Talisman installed in their head, applying special sealing script to modify and adjust their Breakout Chance and abilities. By default, meaning without a Talisman, an Edo Tensei can only access techniques two ranks lower than the maximum its biography allows, its base speed is reduced by four levels, all its damage is reduced by 20 points, and Chakra present in techniques it uses is reduced by 10. These do not count as debuffs; they are modifiers present on the biography from the moment it is summoned.
Note: A biography can have up to a total of three souls for revival, abiding by all Edo Tensei rules.
Note: Users of this technique can have up to three souls prepared for revival, but only 1 present on the battlefield at any time. Orochimaru, Kabuto, and Tobirama biographies or Necromancer specialists can have up to two on the battlefield.
Note: Biographies are able to use the user’s customs. Captured biographies can only use customs for advanced fields, not basic customs.

The new rules of Edo Tensei basically makes them impossible to use. I don't understand the need to make them so complicated, but I guess it was something they really wanted lol


Okay so what is Edo Tensei:

The resurrection of dead shinobi by combining three things: DNA of the Target, a Living Vessel and the Soul of the Target. By using the technique, the user will have to acquire the first two by any means necessary, and it will automatically pull the soul of the target, if it has not been sealed or destroyed previously ( Like the sealing technique of the Dead God ).

These revived ninja retain their abilities and personalities, but have a binding contract with the user. These capabilities can be revoked or increased by the appropriate means, such as Talismans, but will follow the baseline of:

- Access techniques 2 ranks lower than the maximum ( Question: Jounin highest Rank is considered Forbidden or S Rank? Meaning, can a Jounin Edo use up to A rank or B rank ?
- Base Speed -4
- Damage -20 / Chakra -10 ( Not Debuff )
- Passively regenerate 15HP per turn unless hit by health blocking techs, like Truth Seeking Orbs or Anutu.
- 0HP means the Edo becomes disabled. Heals 40HP per turn until they reach 50% of their Base Health, upon which they can be operated again.
- Can use all abilities, customs of the User, customs of the target ( Advanced Fields, not Basic Customs. Question: Does this mean one can use their YY, Kinjutsu, Fuuin and other Bloodline related Customs? Usually they say only CE and other categories, but here they clearly say they can use customs for all Advanced Fields... )
- One can have 3 DNA/Souls prepared ( By wining in official battles approved by a moderator ) but only 1 in the field active.
- Edo has 20% chance of Breakout ( Meaning escape control of the user ) which can be increased by the target's own mastery of certain fields and decreased by the usage of Talismans.

Breakout modifiers:

Base ( 20% ) + Ability Modifier ( +10% to +40%, highest applies ) + Kinjutsu User Modifier ( +40% )
I won't list all the Abilities, but Isabella Uchiha would be 20 + 20 ( Yin ) + 40 = 80% Breakout Chance.

Using Outer Path ( -20% ) + using Talisman ( -20 to -X% )

If you're referring to purchased Edo's, then yes, as they will have 5 in each stat ( except VIT ) as the default. It can't be changed around, so that means they'll have access to A Ranks in the basic 9 and their specific field.

No question on the talismans.

As for Edo, since they get attributes, when you turn an actual bio into an edo, do they retain their invested AP and specialities? Do they get boons by using techniques of their own speciality? What is considered a speciality of bios that are bought? Just the special element/skill? I know some bios refer to innate specialities, but when they don't have any reference should we assume that only their unique skills are considered specs?
