I actually don't know all that much. I know the gist of it, but I don't quite understand it's mechanisms or limitations. Or rather, I would love to understand the potential, or several paths of potential, that kinjutsu entails.Who said old dogs can't learn new tricks?! Huehue. Anyway, tell me what you know about Kinjutsu and we'll go over the techniques.
Of course not, I shall be very tame, I am sure. You've touched on the important points, so we'll move onto the techniques and discuss them as we go because they have their own Forbidden aspects which I'd like you to point out while analyzing them. As for the custom potential, its still a bit unknown in the RP as to what's allowed/or not, but I imagine we'll quickly find out when you sub something wild, lol. Anyway let's go over the first jutsu.
( Kinjutsu: Shoushagan no Jutsu ) - Forbidden Technique: Vanishing Facial Copy Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points:N/A
Description: Shoushagan no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique used for spying. A dark technique, the jutsu involves the removal of the face of the person to be impersonated. By wearing their face and clothing, the ninja can impersonate the original without others being aware.
I would discuss it further if the technique itself allowed for the chakra network to change colors/sensation in order to perfectly mimic the victim, as that could be an interesting concept to follow. But I will keep in mind the canon usage of the technique and how it could indeed trick quite a lot of people until damage starts to wear off the disguise.Honestly, I personally think its pretty useless, but its on the list so we're going over it, lol. You're using their face and clothes; so I imagine the odor will be the other persons and be enough to trick someone who uses scent based tracking. As for chakra sensing or Dojutsu, its a bit weird because Orochimaru used this to trick two villages who have Sensors/Dojutsu users amongst them, but I'd assume your chakra network wouldn't change. Regarding Dojutsu, I believe Sasuke didn't notice anything off about it until the actual face started peeling, so I'm assuming it could work. Ngl I don't think this has much practical usage in the RP, so unless you want to discuss it further, we'll move on to the next jutsu.
(Kinjutsu: Tajū Kage Bunshin no Jutsu ) Forbidden Technique: Multiple Shadow Clones Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short
Chakra: 70 (Total chakra is divided equally between the number of clones and the user)
Damage: N/A
Description:
This technique is essentially a massive version of the Shadow Clone Technique. Instead of a maximum of 4 clones, it creates up to 8 shadow clones of the user. This is considered a kinjutsu, because it can potentially be dangerous to the person performing it, seeing as how all of the clones are given an equal amount of chakra directly from the user. Each clone is equal to the ones created by the original, simpler technique and can use all the techniques the user can.
Note: Usable only once per battle, disabling the further use of clones of any kind for the rest of the match.
I was going to ask about the distance this coffin pops up from and the speed at which the arms move, but I figure it's basically just average jutsu speed and pretty close without it being like touching. I would also like to know the possibility of using this technique to lift myself up by popping a coffin beneath me, or lift someone else up by doing the same, or if the description mentioning "near" would limit my ability to do so.Yeah, its not ideal considering our chakra reserves, lol. That jutsu is way more of a hindrance than it is beneficial. Anyway, we'll move onto the next technique. Lemme know what you think, ask questions, etc.
( Kinjutsu: Edo Fūmetsu ) - Forbidden Technique: Impure World Seal Destruction
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user claps their hands, causing a coffin, much like the ones used in Impure World Reincarnation, to erupt from a portal near the opponent. The coffin opens up, and ghostly arms reach out from the coffin and catch the opponent. If they successfully catch the opponent, he will be immobilized and unable to react. The arms drag him into the coffin and take him to the netherworld, a dimension separate from reality and which can only be escaped from via Space/Time techniques.
Note: The arms reach only up to short range of the coffin's position and lack kinetic force.
Note: This technique can only be used twice per battle.
This is one of the main reasons why I wanted Kinjutsu. Detective L used it against me twice, and it was very very hard to combat this. My question, though, is if this includes spiritual health or merely physical health. I figure, since this is not a full recovery and does not replenish chakra reserves, that it would not replenish health lost through spiritual means. But it is better to ask than to get it wrong, especially since it would be great if this could heal from spiritual damage.Bet, so next up is Oral Rebirth. This is probably the most useful technique so far, and something you may need in your next fight, lol.
( Kinjutsu: Koutou Kousei ) - Forbidden Technique: Oral Rebirth
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique allows the user to experience a near total rebirth of their physical form. Should a significant portion of their body be damaged in battle, the user can emerge from their mouth and cast off the skin of their former body. This new body will not bear the brunt of the damage of the previous incarnation; however, the technique is generally not a full recovery. What this means it the user's Health is returned to 75% of his max health ( for example, if the user is a Jounin, he will be returned to 120 health). After a second use, the user is only returned to 50% of his maximum health.
Note: This technique may be used only twice per battle.
Oh I have techs that are similar to this xD Like Geechee Nzumbe! It is a pretty cool technique, like Shadow clones, without the limitation of halving your chakra. It would be very interesting to use this against chakra beasts and other npcs. No questionsI had the same question in my training, lol. The answer is no, it only applies to physical damage. I confirmed with Drackos before answering this, so there's no confusion. It would've been nice, but it is what it is. Moving on.
( Kinjutsu: Doro Ningyō ) - Forbidden Arts: Mud Golem
Type: Supplementary
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short
Chakra: 70 (-20 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: The user will put his hands into the Bird handseal while releasing his chakra into the ground. Using the ground as a medium, the user will form from it, a copy of any ninja in contact with the ground that he so desires. The copies will initially be brown, similar to earthen statues, gradually transforming into virtually pitch perfect copies of the targets. These copies cannot talk though they can act on their own as long as the user keeps the handseal made and keeps fueling it with his chakra. The copies will be able to use any of the elements the target might be able to use but only up to S-Rank, drawing the needed chakra from the user. If contact with the ground is broken by the user or if he releases the handseal, the copies will crumble and be lost though the copies can still leap and break contact with the earth to fight.
Note: Can only make 1 copy of each target
Note: Usable once
Note: Copies last up to 5 turns or until the technique is ended by releasing the handseal
Note: While focusing on the technique, the user cannot mold his chakra for any other technique; doing so ends the technique
Note: Copies cannot use custom jutsu taught or owned by the target but can use his elemental KG or CE
Okay, so now this should be the percursor to Impure World Reincarnation, This technique has a cap of 150 chakra, spending 5 chakra per corpse being resurrected, meaning you can have up to 30 corpses in the field. I am assuming that the normal D rank corpses can be assumed to exist in pretty much every major landmark, as long as it is not too faraway from a big city or village, as the probability of at least 30 people having died within the landmark in less time than it takes for all the bones in a human body to completely turn dust should be pretty high.Well, you can't utilize other techniques whilst using this so its not ideal, but it could have its uses ig. Moving on.
( Kinjutsu Doton Soseijutsu: Shishi Dojō ) Forbidden Earth Resurrection Technique: Corpse Soil
Type: Supplementary
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 5 per corpse (150) (-10 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: This technique is called the "ultimate earth-element resurrection technique" because it focuses upon using the earth itself as a medium to revive corpses. By utilising soil in the local ground, the user can revive the fallen present there in one of two ways. The first version allows the user to seemingly continuously resurrect a large number of slain people as zombies, but with none of their rationality, physical prowess, or techniques at their disposal. They are fairly easy to destroy, capable of enduring little more than Taijutsu and D-Rank Ninjutsu. The amount of zombies raised is directly proportional to the chakra spent to search through the ground and awaken the corpse's remains. Some corpses may not be in a perfect state, being deteriorated or decomposed, in which case, earth will form the missing areas into functional parts. If the technique is deactivated either by the user or if the user is killed, the zombies will immediately turn to dust. The second version allows the user to bring a person back as a perfect resurrection, able to use all their skills from when alive, with the addition of a preset directive the person is forced to obey despite being consciously aware. Unlike the Impure World Reincarnation technique, the soul is not bound to the body nor can the user completely overcome the targets personality. In this case, the user needs access to both a large amount of chakra as well as the fresh, preserved corpse of the target. The limitation of this technique is that, while with Impure World Reincarnation one can summon the pre-prepared revived ninjas at any time and how many times one needs by summoning them, with this technique, the user can only use it once and cannot prepare it beforehand. This means that the user will either need to bring a sealed corpse and perform the technique in the midst of battle or perform it in a fallen enemy who will then be used for as long as is necessary. Another difference is that the revived ninja is not immune to damage and will not regenerate if damaged though injury is not enough to stop it and the corpse will continue to work and function while it has some way to do so. At any time, by performing a Snake hand seal and snapping their fingers, the caster of this technique releases the resurrected targets, turning them into loose soil.
Note: The technique can only be used once.
Note: First version will produce how many corpses the user is willing to pay chakra for, all of which will last until destroyed.
Note: Second version can only be used in one corpse and requires access to a corpse which will not be usable anymore once the technique or the battle ends but that can last while chakra is fueled to sustain it or the technique is ended.
Note: In either cases, defeating the caster of the technique ends the technique.
Note: To use a corpse, the user must have sealed it in an official fight, approved by an RP Moderator, linking to which, upon reviving, is mandatory.
I do indeed! You don't need to think about it that deeply, lol. If someone is questioning you about how long ago the people have died and if their bones have turned to dust.. don't associate with people like that.
Hm, I'd be inclined to say it costs 150 chakra. I find it hard to believe that it costs 5 chakra, especially when its being brought back with all the abilities it had when it was alive. Unfortunately, this doesn't have much usability in the NW since perma-death is off and this doesn't function like Edo entirely. Its probably best used for missions where you have freedom to try stuff.
Before we move on, I'm assuming you have Medical Ninjutsu?
