Then at some later point Michelle handwaved that they can't see everything done to them

I'd like to get some clarification on what that restriction is, because afaict, it's possible she didn't even detect kek visiting them until it was implied and she made a quick correction. I could chalk it up to maybe the host forgetting if it were just this but I am curious why she couldn't see aether
