@Grammaton

Overall I think you have to weigh Ratchet's actions in bulk, and also consider that a lack of information on our own part may be responsible for the difference in some expected actions, and not alignment. It was actually Ratchet bringing up Janitor-lynch out of nowhere that made me consider what kind of wacky abilities are in play here if he can say that with a straight face. I mean he might just be pulling it out of his ass but I assume it's not unexpected for the host otherwise he wouldn't say it. Taking that into consideration, perhaps there could be some write-up or alignment altering abilities that would allow him to pursue anyone he wants with abandon. Or by simply following Ratchet's own logic you can easily see how he might have latched on to the idea that SK was 3p.

So, I think if him being aggressive/stalwart yesterday is the only reason you're reading him then you should reconsider that if there's several reasons not to read him as town which I've covered

Finally, consider the fact that Ratchet has to be very careful not to step on any landminds with his fake claim - those landmines being nearly a dozen townies who possess several abilities, most of them likely unique. That's a LOT, and if there's just a single inconsistency between any one of them and what Ratchet's got, he's instantly toast. I think that's why he has bizarrely claimed mostly scummy abilities - he's only got his own rolesheet and his remaining partner(s) (probably only one) to reliably work with.

There are no surprises from him that make me go "oh shit he's actually town" and that's pretty fucking unusual

Toujo is definitely on top suss it's interesting poison targeted soul over toujo and went out of her way defending toujo

While her claim is suss based on claiming she would roadblock soul then saying she did it to poison the next day

@Toujo If by a slim chance I'm wrong here and you're just town, sorry for cutting your game short. But I think at a certain point you gotta own up to the corner you've placed yourself into. I think the best thing for you to do is to spend the day productively giving legacy reads and give up on defending yourself. That's what I'd like to see.
But I'm not holding out for that

Well, it's Day 2 now. The context is different enough for that read to be totally invalidated - the fact that Ratchet was not only ultimately wrong but attempted to cast doubt on an OBVIOUSLY town role before shoddily diverting to the next wagon totally negates the objection I had to lynching him from yesterday - which is that he has no scum motive. He reversed that entirely at the very end of the day.
So lets look at it logically - if he were scum, such a stance would ensure a 1 for 1 trade if he pushed the lynch through, would it not? mafia cant win doing that, and i highly suspect my take is in the minority here

Well, he didn't push the lynch through did he? He forced a claim and got rid of a difficult player. I thought pushing a 1 for 1 is what he was doing yesterday as well, but that didn't pan out.

Furthermore, I feel that as a player Ratchet has the confidence to go for risky plays and think he can pick up the pieces. But ultimately, the essence of what your asking is *would Ratchet intentionally hurt his and his team's chances of victory with this play*?

And so we go back to the point I just made to you, which is that we don't have all of the information available to evaluate whether that play was truly detrimental. Even operating with just what we know, if Ratchet's goal was to attract a lot of negative attention to himself, that is perfectly in line with his reflect one shot. Think about it - not only would any shots coming his way backfire but any investigations would come up innocent because they're not hitting his neutralizing passive, they're hitting the cop who investigated him
So, yeah.

feel its worth pointing out that Rej was also technically a miller if you read his passives, which brings some doubt on Tpeins claim
I millered claimed myself.
No one would ever check me.
Like I said,
I flipped miller elsewhere and I told no one I was miller.
I never do.
I just did it as a courtesy.

I mean thats possible, but then why not keep up the charade today too? Why share the information about the passives, specifically the reflection today, but not yesterday? Why share it at all in fact, why not just attempt to bait more roles and provide prospective teammates with cover?

Theres probably more animus to lynch him today given SKs flip and he has less visibility of other players intentions due to the restriction - It seems very sub-optimal to me

Bro I've cracked Ratchet's code. I'm in the mainframe. I've got him downloaded.

I believe I've already covered the above by implication from my post about how difficult fake claiming is for him.
