“Owwwwwwww,” Carol and Rachel said in unison. They both were coming to their senses. Carol shot up and looked at her surroundings. Rubbing the back of her head, Rachel stood up.
“I hope I don’t have a concussion,” she mumbled. Carol did about five double takes and realized they were in the middle of the friggin’ woods. Where the woods were was beyond them. She replied.
“I believe having a concussion is the least of worries at this point.”
“……Good point,” agreed Rachel. Even though they were in a horrible predicament she pulled out her book and began to read like no tomorrow. Earning an angry look from Carol. Carol shook her head. As if she was going to let this get to her. Suddenly Rachel slammed her book shut in realization and yelled,
“Marinta where are you!!!” Only then did Carol notice Marinta was no longer with them. The worst scenarios passed through both of their heads. Little did they know they awakened three mysterious SOLDIERs from their sleep, leading them into their direction.
Meanwhile…….
“What…the…..****,” was Marinta’s only reply to the place she was in. She was in what looked to be in the middle of some private library in a mansion . At first when she got up she was happy she was in one piece until a few seconds later realizing she was all alone. Life sucked for her beyond anyone’s understanding. Marinta walked around and skimmed through one of the books and a map on the desk. By the looks of things she was in a small country town called Nibelheim and she was in a mansion used for some research concerning something about ’Mako energy’ and ’Jenova cells’. Whatever the hell that was. Dusting off her clothes, Marinta began to walk up the stairs leading into the mansion’s foyer. Once she got there she was met with 10 soldiers and a guy in a lab coat and ponytail.
“Who the hell are you,” questioned Marinta. The man in the ponytail looked at her.
“The true question is who are you and how did you manage to get past security. Though if you don’t know I am one of Shinra’s most famous scientists, Hojo.” answered Hojo. Marinta looked around sizing each soldier in the little platoon. She couldn’t take them all on. Turning around she jumped out the window, knocked out a guy on a motorcycle and sped off into the country side.
Meanwhile…..
Carol and Rachel turned to the bushes. Carol was in a karate stance as was with Rachel. A head poked out of the greenery.
Wham! A foot connected to the guy’s face earning quite a few profanities directed at her.
“What the hell was that for?” replied the man in the black spiky hair.
“Gee, I wonder?” sarcastically replied Rachel. In the meantime Carol was cleaning the blood of her nice gym shoe. Two men, one with long silver hair and the other one with reddish brown hair, followed the black-haired one out into the small clearing. The one with the silver hair spoke,
“I apologize for scaring you, but would you mind about telling us where we are?” Rachel bit her lip as Carol responded.
“Actually, we were hoping you guys knew where we were, and sorry for kicking you.” The black-haired guy wiped the blood of his face.
“It’s fine. The name’s Angeal. This is Sephiroth,” he pointed to the silver hair, “and this is Genesis.” He said gesturing toward the other one. Carol nodded and introduced her and Rachel.
“I’m Carol and this is Rachel.” Genesis spoke,
“ Pleasure to meet you.” Rachel looked at each one and said,
“Nice to meet you too……” Sephiroth began to walk away.
“We won’t know where we are if just stand here and exchange pleasantries. You two can come as well if you want.” Angeal and Genesis shook their head and followed. Exchanging glances, Carol and Rachel soon followed behind.
Meanwhile……
The roar of a motorcycle was heard in the silent valley. The rider was calculating her choices as a pursuit troop was on her tail. Marinta glanced behind her to see guns pointed at her. Looking ahead, she noticed she was now stuck in a blockade. With no way out she pulled the motorbike to a full stop and tore off her helmet. The circle of soldiers seemed to close in on her with guns raised, prepared to shoot and kill her if necessary. Sensing there was no way out Marinta raised her hands up.
“I surrender.” After that a soldier walked behind her and knocked her out with the end of his gun.
Meanwhile……..
“So you guys came from another world more than likely. It doesn’t sound realistic but you can never tell nowadays,” stated Angeal. Carol explained the whole fiasco of how they got there. Three reasons on why Rachel and Carol trusted them was one, they were from this world or whatever, two they were strong looking guys that could help them out if needed, and three they just seemed to trust them. Sephiroth looked at the sky. He saw several old, non-used, mako reactors. He turned around to the others.
“Looks like we aren’t that far from Midgar. We should get there in a while if we walk,” he said. Genesis turned toward Rachel. She seemed to be reading some sort of play. The others started to walk ahead while the two lagged behind. Genesis spoke first.
“What are you reading?” Rachel closed her book and looked at Genesis. Earning a confused glance from him.
“You wouldn’t know it’s called ‘The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet’. A classic play back home,” replied Rachel. Genesis grabbed the book from Rachel and flipped through the pages. It looked somewhat similar to ‘Loveless’.
“How many times have you read this. It seems pretty worn out. I hate to be nosey, but I read some classic plays too which are really good. It’s called ‘Loveless’,” he spoke. The two then got into an in-depth conversation on their favorite sections of each play and what it was about. Carol looked back to see the two having a blast and laughing. She smiled to herself. In response Angeal looked back and laughed he told Carol,
“Finally someone he can talk to about that dumb play. He has read it out loud so many times it is practically drilled into my head. I know it buy heart now.”
“Your not the only one who had to deal with that,” retorted Carol. Then it dawned on her.
“Rachel, keep an eye out for Marinta in the city. More than likely she will probably be sticking out like a sore thumb but still keep an eye out nonetheless,” yelled Carol. Rachel looked back and nodded her head.
“Your missing friend and you two seem to be really close,” Sephiroth spoke. Carol nodded her head. She seemed to be looking into the past for a moment before replying.
“Yes we are like siblings tied by fate.” The statement earned a look from Angeal that could not really be described. Sometime later the looming buildings of Midgar came into view.
Meanwhile…..
A man with tall spiky blond hair stood at the outer area of a city known as Midgar. He has a cell in his hand and was talking to someone on the other end. Though only thing you could hear what was he was saying on his end of the line.
“Yeah Tifa. YES, I finished delivering the packages so don’t worry…..And yes I am in one piece..” After a few minutes of reassuring Tifa he was perfectly fine, Cloud hung up the phone. He was about to start his bike until he saw two familiar figures by Zack’s sword. They seemed to be asleep. At first he thought it was a mirage but upon closer inspection he couldn’t believe his eyes.
“Aerith……Zack?”

It's not a lot longer than the prologue though in some people's opinion it may seem short but that just means there will be more chapters. In addition to that I don't want it to be too repetitive and droning. Hope you enjoyed xd.
