Hope springs eternal Mexico won't go down easily. I actually believed in Chile too today but it didn't come true.

In Brazil vs Cameroon, even though Brazil offense was extremely good but their defense looked frail, their first half was nerve, failure to improve this defense might cost them on the days their attack is lacklustre.

As for Mexico vs Croatia, the match was battle of opposites on one side Croatia never tried hard, Mexico gave it their all.
Mexican team were effervescent in attack and defended very well.

Mexico aren't going down easy against Netherlands and the battle will go down to the wire.

haha with the way Brazil is playing, I dont see them having a prayer of a chance against Netherlands. Infact I think Mexico could beat Brazil as well (without help from the officials ofcourse). It's too bad Mexico and Netherlands have to face off this early, both are looking solid. Brazil so far doesn't look like a championship caliber team. But we'll see how it goes from here...anything can happen.

Uruguay have again created a miracle, Italy is out of the world cup, heartbreak for Italians, Italy should never have laid back and gone with the mentality of attaining a draw, the should have created more chances.

As for Uruguay they again win in the dying minutes, that corner goal by Godin proving to be the winner, Italy defended that poorly, the goal was brilliant, Suarez escapes a red card for a seeming bite on Chiellini.
But nothing should be taken away from Uruguay as the proved that the wanted the win more and kept pressing.
