boring ..boring, always passing backwards, I want to see more forward play meh, Belgium is missing that finishing touch, their goalscoring capacities are just to low if they want to get further , Lukaku is also underperforming , he hardly gets a touch and when he does either his control is bad at first touch and he loses the ball , He does not fit into this Belgium team who wants to play on ballposession and with fast compact football , he is technically just not good enough in my opinion

Belgium were overestimated by a lot of people (including me), they are a shade of team which we were making them out to be, the still have to gel, seriously this is one of the boring matches of this world cup, belgium should take more chances, even if they concede they might just score more and win, but philosophy of both teams seem to be to salvage a draw to increase chances of qualification.

I hope Algeria vs Korea would be more interesting, not holding my breath though.

I don't understand why Wilmots does not give Januzai a chance, hes a fast paced player, he could bring in some vitesse into the gameplay, Lukaku's sub should start in the basis next time

Heartbreak for Russia as Belgium won 1-0 and qualify, Russians were increasing their confidence in last moments, but fell short.
A win for Belgium but not convincing though, if they are going to pose any threat in pre-quarterfinals they have to improve.

Yea but he will get his chance maybe next match since Belgium is now qualified, but I got the idea that Januzai is on the bench because in the qualification he did not play for belgium yet, only in the last minute it was decided he would play for Belgium so I have the feeling he is not playing because he had no involvement in the qualifiction. The best players should just play in my opinion
I could just be overthinking things , but Belgiums are rather modest and humble so it could certainly play a part

2-2, heartbreaking for USA, Portugal got lucky, USA were the better team in the whole of second half, USA should have won.
USA proved they are a team greater than the sum of their parts, they played brilliant attacking football in the match.

Portugal must learn from their todays counterparts, what a team means, they were completely one dimensional, with Ronaldo their only hope,they are in fact the weakest team of the group.

A draw between Germany and USA sends both of them through.
