Lol. I was searching for a stone to break my TV, when I saw that Ghana counterattack during them dying moments, with only two German players behind.>_>

Not going to lie my breath was struck for the whole of second half, especially when Ghana scored their second, I thought Germany were going to lose, but then Klose scored, still Ghana looked very dangerous.

With this draw Ghana saved themselves from exiting, and German's still aren't certain to qualify, but I hope they will.

15th World Cup final goal for Miroslav Klose, this goal means he is now Germany's outright top scorer at the World Cup finals after previously being tied on 14 with Gerd Muller. The 36-year-old also becomes Germany's oldest ever goalscorer at the tournament. And he is only the third player to score at four World Cups along with Pele and fellow German Uwe Seeler.

This match is proof that German team is still not invincible.
-Seriously that defense, I would have killed that Mustafi, if he wouldn't have improved his play. We lost Euro cup due to poor defense and today I was thinking that same thing is going to happen after that first goal.
-Klose again proved that why he is legend, he literally saved the day and brought back that enthusiasm into German play.
-That cross from Muller was pure perfection and so was that first goal.
-Ghana played a lot better than what I was expecting. Knowing perfectly what to do and when to do, this team played way better than what they did against U.S.A.
But Germany need to improve their defense, with players at their proper positions.:vincent:

I felt as if my heart would explode . Germany were atrocious at containing Ghana's counters today, yet they handled Portugal's with such ease. Then again Germany have a curse of the 2nd match slump, and this should pick them up and make them ruthless against the US. Ghana threw everything they had today, they fought for their lives, they fought with serious passion. In the end Klose finally saved us and did it though. I still think Germany will win it all. What a game!

This match was totally breathtaking and World Cup is proving match after match no team must be discredited or discounted as weak and a match can have any outcome, even beyond belief.
Also this attacking style of football accounts for much exciting, I would rather have a nail biting match, than a boring park the bus slugfest, even if it might gets result.


As said in posts above, Low shouldn't experiment too much with established positions and please make Lahm the full back again, he is even better in that position and it improves the play on wings.

Nigeria vs Bosnia next, hopefully Bosnia will impress, 2-1 in favor of bosnia.

Dzeko's goal was ruled offside due to a totally wrong offside decision.

Nevertheless he isn't coaching Germany, so why is Low copying what he does? I'm sure he has a brain of his own. Not to mention Pep used him there a lot as Bastian/Javi/Thiago were in and out of injuries and struggled to find form. That conceited baldie won 4 titles and got KO in the semi-final by the eventually winners last year with that Lahm in midfield, so yes I doubt I'd want to question him, considering he also has 18 titles under his belt in 5 years. Clearly he doesn't know what he's doing.

And please don't say that Baldie was forced to play Lahm at midfield, he clearly stated that he want Lahm to played in midfield and sadly Lahm was happy with it and Gladly accept it ( well if he said NO Baldie might started benched him like he did with Ibra and Kross, he's a dictator like that little guy ),

In this game we see Low adapt that Tiki Taka rubbish and suffered greatly until he finally opened his eyes and bring Bastian into the game, and we can clearly see the impact, and with Bastian and that clueless Ghana player who don't seem to understand the concept of an offside the Germans have been spared.

Oh and he win 4 tittles last year ? the only cup worth the brag is the one against Chelsea in super cup, the rest is like auto win even without Baldie as a coach... ah and DFB pokal should have goes to Dortmund, too bad the ref wrongly disallowed Hummels goal.

I've never really rated him to begin with.

No Lahm wasn't happy with it at first, eventually he liked the role a lot once he started playing in. A lot of people gave both Pep and Lahm credit on doing that as no one would've thought Lahm could play in midfield. Kroos? You do know he made the most appearance for Bayern last season right? The reason he got benched was because he was acting up with his contract and had a fit after a game has playing bad in and Pep took him off, even Sammer defend Pep on that. And Kroos is overrated to begin with. Yes, I assume most coaches are dictators because thats their team and they call the shots. Mou or Sir Alex bench players its because their genius Pep does it because he's a dictator, nice to hear.

Doesn't matter whats auto win or not the fact is he and Bayern still won 4 titles and Hummels disallowed goal can be blamed on the Bundesliga clubs who veto the goal line technology as they didn't want to pay for it.

Anyways this is about the World Cup, so lets keep it at that instead of going off topic.
